My mom is the same way she forgets how good my brakes are so she always panics whenever I don't start slowing down when she would

My ex was the opposite. We'd be 10 feet from the car in front, and she's still accelerating and playing with the radio.

I told my girlfriend that if she wants us to get somewhere safely, she just has to let me drive and not tell me what to do. She doesn’t react to shit and doesn’t scream. We got in a head in collision at around 30 mph and she didn’t even make a sound, just covered her face. It’s great cuz it allows me to make potentially “dangerous” maneuvers without someone screaming unnecessarily

I typically take girls for a "spirited" drive in the mountain passes and show them what I and the car are capable of. They're typically...alarmed afterward, but it resets their bar of what is considered dangerous. You know you've got their attention when they get quiet.

Not sure if this is worse than my ex that would tell me to take a turn or an exit as we are passing it.

Every woman in my life. Mom, every significant other I’ve ever had, sister, grandma. Every single lacks the spatial awareness to backseat drive from the passenger seat. Yet every single one of them thinks a stop sign a half a mile away is right there. Or a car is swerving into our lane.

I drive, I hardly ever ride. I don't trust nobody's driving but my own. I feel her fear, overblown or not. LOL The way she tucked her bare foot under her leg to make herself smaller and less breakable was cute.

I don't know why all the women in my family think they have to stop 100 feet from the stop sign. Daughters found out the hard way when they got knocked points on their drivers test that they should listen to me.

I've pulled out into the curb lane from a side street, and had people start honking the horn at me from 3 miles back down the road. Couldn't tell if they were male or female though.
