It’s a fever blister. I was dehydrated, sick and now recovering. I’m using some medication that the hubby bought me.

So glad you are feeling better Shaeeda! I used to get fever blisters all the time especially when my immune system was down. They are so annoying. I now use carmax or blistex regularly and don't get them. There is also a medication that is supposed to help. Not sure what it is, please check with your doctor.

People should only feel ashamed of offending when they're intent was indeed to offend. Otherwise, you can apologize when it happens, but no one should live life tiptoeing on eggshells because of what someone else might feel about you being yourself. There needs to be some balance. Why would someone be offended by that comment? They are the ones who need self- reflection.
