Would love to see your take on that, some reactors can be clueless but your read/analysis of characters, storylines, etc., are always spot on! fun fact about kim dami (witch). she read about the audition for this role from the newspaper and got the role after beating other 1500 participants, basically (1:1500). this is her debut as the main role for film and she won SOOOOOOO many awards for this role alone.

38:08 i just read an interview for this movie and they said that the nobleman (psychopath boy) character is actually a serious character. but choi wooshik (psychopath boy) acts in this role his own way (but ofc he discussed it with the director first lol) and makes the character more alive.

The German army were killing locals so they could resettle it with their people. During the early 70s I witnessed my mother shutting at a patient in hospital. This German woman had been telling stories about where she had been in Eastern Europe. My mother listened and then said to her your parents were nazis who were involved in resettling German people, on land that had been taken from the murdered owners. The woman looked scared I've never seen my mother so angry she yelled at her your people murdered my father. My grandfather born in New York had been going backwards and forwards to Europe and on his last trip which he tried to get out of, word came back he had been found dead with a head wound. His luggage was returned but his personal affects were missing, he died two weeks before WW2 was declared. My Grandmother told me how deeply conderned he was war would start before he got back. He told her there was no turning back Hitler could not be stopped, and left explicit instructions to leave their home if forced to, but not to seperate their 5 children. He told her he would come back and find them no matter what, and made other provisions for them before he left. It was all too much for my mother the nurses calmed it down, but they were looking hard at the German woman. Maybe she thought being in Australia people wouldn't realise, but people have long memories.

It's one of his worst films. Very predictable. And no one has the right to be this horrific to their children because their own lives had tragedy in them.

41:14 a-ha! it's my time to shine. i was confused when i first see this part, too. i'm glad i can explain what happened here. here's korean dialogue and my own sub-title dr. : 아니야, 그러지 마. 엄마 괜찮아 dr.: no, you don't need to do that. mommy's fine witch: 너, 언니한테 까불면, 목아지 날아간다 witch: if you be naughty to your unnie (elder sister), your head will be flying away from your body so, we can tell this dr. is a twin sister of the other dr. who've made the witch in the lab. the witch must've found this place, where the doctor's twin sister lives. they're talking about cure and all but suddenly, this scary looking girl appears, who must have sensed an intruder in the facility and came to protect the doctor. she must be this doctor's version of "witch". doctor said "no, don't need to do that. mommy's fine" as she knew "witch 2" was about to fight the original "witch" dr. didn't see the "witch" as too big of a threat, i guess, by the tone of her voice and her attitude. by the look of the "witch 2", i guess she's confident, too. our original "witch" said "if you be naughty to your elder sister, your head will be flying off of your body" showing that she's confident, too. it's lost in the sub-title but "witch" called herself as "unnie" (언니), which means elder sister in korean. so, she knows that this scary looking girl is another "witch", new model, probably. - - - i find "the witch" pretty average. i'd give 4 out of 10. there's a sequal but it's worse, in my opinion. 2 out of 10. please watch other movie, like "gon ji am: a haunted asylum". i'd say it's 7 out of 10

We watched Gonjiam before we had a reaction channel and do you know what it takes ME to want to close my eyes?? 😳 that movie was horrifying and so much fun! No movie ever scared me since I was 16, except 2: Smile, and Gonjiam Haunted Asylum, nothing else. It was such a joyride

@@myegyptiandadreacts4824 really? alright. i'm watching your gon-ji-am reaction, now. choice ~ 😉😉 ok. it seems you've uploaded kitten videos, squid game episode 1, saving ryan's private ... but i can't find gon-ji-am. a-ha! i get it. you've watched it before you had this channel, eh? bummer. oh, well. there's another korean horror i can recommend you it's called "r-point" which is about the viet nam war, during which, south korean soldiers were dragged into vietnam, in the name of freedom and justice and all, by usa govt. this movie, i believe is the only south korean horror movie on viet nam war, where the tone is very different from hollywood movies, as we've got different view on viet nam war. long story short, if you find gon-ji-am, ok, you'll enjoy "r-point", too. there's a some kind of remake version of it from england, i guess, tho it's not an exact copy. i'd suggest you to watch this movie on a rainy summer night as it rains in the movie, too 🌨

When I watched that movie I just wanted it to end and had to force myself to watch it all, I do not get why people like it so much. I feel like it's slow, corny, annoying, just silly (in a bad way) and not a good plot. + seeing how high rating it had and good actors in it I really expected something good so that made it even more disappointing. But mean I can tell many people like it and I'm the odd one out but I just really do not understand why people like it so much.

41:30 The girl towards the end appears to be another person “created” by the government experiment. The scar on her face suggests that Ja-yoon might have fought with her in the past. Either way, it points to the fact that Ja-yoon still has tons of enemies to face.

So loved your reaction, father, son, ya'll are wonderful, and so loved the high fives along the way, and your dad so appreciated giving the people behind the production credit, so true, many people working on this, just with the Disney movies I grew up watching, the animated, at the time I didn't realize all the animators it took to make those films come to life,..it does take a lot of work, and talent,....so glad you enjoyed this spectacle, and entertaining movie,..lovely to hear you hail from Egypt,..the pyramids have stood thousands of years, pray they will fair better than in the movie for the next thousand years😉, it's funny, before waiting to hear all of your discussion, and take on the movie, I had to pause your video, and task a quick chore outside, put my music on and the first song that came up was Love Train, by the O'Jays, there's a verse about Egypt, other countries, places, just thought it funny that came on after watching ya'll, do check it out,..some of the best music is from the 1970's,..enjoy,..Godspeed, Peace ✌

Witches 2 is more fun than Witch 1. The release of Witch 3 is yet to be determined. However, there is a Disney + original Korean drama in the second half of 2024 The Tyrant. The Tyrant This drama shares the world view with The Tyrant movie "Witch" series It is a story of people who are located in the confrontation point of witch (Witch 1 Kim Dami, Witch 2 Shin Shia) as a spin-off work.
