Who wants the update??My appearance with The Cereal Bar was way back in 2007 [!!!] in season 2. After this episode aired, I continued to own/profitably operate The Cereal Bar in the Commerce Court food court for a total of 4 years...a husband/wife team purchased it from me in 2010 and continued to successfully run it for the remaining 6 years on the original 10 year lease. Although they wanted to renew the lease with Commerce Court, times had changed and the landlord [large institutional investment fund] reverted to only signing 'head leases' with the large chain operators [the same fate befell The Cereal Bar's independently-operated neighbour, Sue's Grill]. After a major Commerce Court food court renovation, the 2 spaces previously occupied by The Cereal Bar/Sue's Gill are today operating as a location of Buster's Sea Cove [most well-known for its original location in St Lawrence Market].
