    What the hell was that offer in the first clip? 50% down to 0%.. Makes no sense at all, he builds the business for 5 years and then doesn't collect on the value. The business likely loses money for the first few years. Unless he thought the company could be sold within 5 years for a big profit.

    It's a straightforward offer. He wanted 50% for 5 years and would then give the equity back. He figured he could make his money back and then some. So he would help build the business, make his money, then give the equity back. I think it was a good deal.

    I'm wondering if he knows something that we don't. Maybe a product like that will be a big fad for a few years and then fizzle out. If that's the case, he's a genius. Or, he just wanted to make a crazy offer.
