This is one of the best song's that Roy has ever sang, so sad but true and beautiful. Tell me just how many people are going to die, before that sweet sweet world piece, comes from Heaven. Down with Satan and praise God ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I once saw an interview where Petty was smiling as he recalled meeting Roy.Tom said first thing I asked him was "how does it feel to be the greatest living singer in the world"? He said Roy answered in a split second,he said "It feels good" .My mom use to say if "Roy were as pretty as Elvis he would have been Elvis, thats how great he was Michael" That was to a young me in the 70s.I realized Tom and mom were absolutely right but it was the 80s in my 20s that I caught on.A legend is what Mr.Orbinson is.

That last, "I see you through the rain....every heartache and pain...." made me think three things: 1) GOD, I miss that man. 2) The ball has officially left the park. 3) Dear Roy, if only you knew the heartache and pain knowing you're never coming back. RIP, legend.

Very well done bio of his life and music. This is my first time watching and it brings me back to the day I learned of his death and the incredible sadness I felt upon hearing it. He was so visited, unique, yet humble and ordinary in the best and refreshing way possible. I believe. Bruce Springsteen once said that Roy Orbison's music was the soundtrack of his youth and taught him it was alright to feel lonely and different because there was understanding, hope, and reassurance in Ihe lyrics and themes of his songs. Indeed, I have felt that many of his songs have been cathartic for me in dealing with a whole broad range of thoughts, feelings and emotions. I was intensely shy, had a stutter, and many times felt isolated and alone growing up and Roy's music spoke to me and told me it was ok to feel different and an outkast and that I could still remain original and true to myself and get through whatever hardship I was dealing with as long as I had a solid belief in myself. Thanks for all of the great music, life lessons, and wisdom Mr.Orbison.
