Jeff Lynne of ELO. was a big fan of Roy’s and was the producer of both his Mystery Girl album and “I drove all night” single. He ensured Roy went out at the top when he passed away.

Legendary. I always wondered how we got the two different versions with the one that was the better fit coming out second. Nice video -- shame it cut out before the ending.

Wow, you mentioned Peter Kingsbery/Cock Robin. Sad that CR never hit it big in the USA. Peter covered 'Only the Very Best'. Wish he did a cover of IDAN,

The Estate has the full version but as to whether they will ever release it or not remains to be seen.

If your waiting on the Estate to release it then you can forget it. You have a better chance of hitting the lottery.

Sam, I never personally met Roy but I saw him in concert and knew of his body of work for many years prior to his passing.
