All research are too slow, it is very annoying to see all supposed research with no application in real life

Brilliant advice. Particularly that you shouldn't write the grant you want, but what the funding agency needs. And avoiding jargon, writing in plain english. And follow the instructions the funders give for what they want to hear - what you're doing, why it matters, why now. At some points this presentation felt like a bit of a speedrun, I wonder if he was against the clock.

I am stunned, only 127 views. The work you are doing is remarkable. Thank you. I think congress needs more or better science advisors. I am 73 and funding medical research is my number one concern.

Stem Cell vs. Cats Claw. Both are going to up the T-Cells. I would like to see the pros and cons. Cats Claw is natural and can be given as a tincture along with zinc. The body would rid itself of what is not needed. Stem cell is STILL controversial. Please do not go too far with this before you look into the pros and cons. thank you and kindest regards.

Ron C No, you better off taking a stool softener daily and a laxitve when already constipated with allot of water throughout the day. You must also focus on eating whole wheat grain and salads to make your bowel movements more regular fruits as well with the skin. Soda water will only make things worse

I'm from New Brunswick Canada and I had a severe stroke at a young age. It's been 14 years since I had the stroke and I've come a long ways back however I still have some work to do. I've seen what it can do, it's amazing and I'm going to get Stem Cell Treatment done and unfortunately it's still considered "experimental" even after all these years. It could put me back to the way I was, back to work, so I can enjoy my life again instead of sitting at home, riding around on a scooter, and board out of their mind! I'm giving it my all to get this done ASAP!

First of all would like to say thank you for all the work you are doing. Sorry l missed the live feed. My husband and l are in UK. He is now 50 years old. He has Sickle cell beta Thalassaemia with g6pd deficiency, also through our heamotoligist we have found he has a small amount of haemoglobin A which shows slight sickle cell trait. My husband has now other health issues, last one was in April when he had myocarditis. Luckily caught him just in time to live another day. We know that stem cell treatment would be a very high risk. Heamotoligist are now in talks about a drug trial for my husband it's not the hydroxeau sorry spelling, there is one that apparently will help the flow of blood and oxygen to circulate better, which in turn reduces crisis and more damage. We keep hoping and having faith. The knowledge in UK is putting bluntly bad. So again thankyou

Thank you for reaching out to us. We are state government agency that only funds stem cell research so we don't provide any stem cell treatments or medical care. We support the CIRM Alpha Stem Cell Clinics in California which provide a number of high quality stem cell-based clinical trials: www.cirm.ca.gov/patients/alpha-clinics-network/alpha-clinics-trials Also, you can search the clinicaltrials.gov online database for trials that are testing treatments for your condition. Best wishes

The approach is all wrong. Are there clinical trials for heart surgeries? A blind study where one group has an operation to repair the heart, and another group doesn't know if they had the surgery, but they migjt show improvement? This is the approach for bringing a new drug to the market, not for a procedure. By definition, transplant of tissue, either from the patients own body or from a "donor", is surgical intervention, not a drug for treating a condition.

I hope this comes to fruition .... I am 32 and have had RP for the past 10 years. It's such a struggle everyday to just get out of bed. I have 3 kids and want to see them all grow and get married... What eats me the most and not being able to fulfill the duties a proper father and husband should. I don't care for myself going blind for my own sake, no. I care for not being able to provide support for my 4 other family members. I'm still able to do something but it's not enough. I love them to death and would do anything to be able to see properly. I thank them and thank God that I have a supportive family whom without, I don't know what I would've done with my self. My wife is extremely supportive, thoughtfully and het kindness is second to none. It's amazing how people see cars and homes as luxuries and all I want is my vision back. Don't take anything for granted people and enjoy every day for what it is. Good luck everyone and I wish you all the best of health, wealth and happiness :)
