It's true. Groves was also an NLP Master practitioner and had studied Ericksonian hypnosis which of course would naturally take you towards clean language. It makes sense if you think about it. I have a set of five books by a teacher that taught this and she had a hand in helping put it together and shape it Plus the fifth book has a new doctor that has really contributed a lot to it. I've only read the first few books years ago and I'm excited to continue reading them. I'm sure the new book that you guys are talking about includes it already. Yes, and it gives you questions to unpack the metaphors, the emotions, temporal questions, etc. I took a class for this years ago and they taught us to have people continually come back and make a huge metaphor map I found that when people come to you for hypnosis or an NLP session they are not interested in multiple clean language sessions! So I began using it to unpack a few other metaphors. This seemed to really carry weight and after we changed it to a positive I would still use it during the hypnosis and go into the multiple metaphors where I could reframe them. Because using their own metaphors is so very powerful! Thank you for mentioning this everybody is going crazy about it but I took the class years ago. The books I'm reading are called mining metaphors about clean language. Very interesting and very similar to the one that you're talking about. Thank you!

I only want you to realize, as you may already know, that we're always planting images in people's minds. And what happens when you become even more aware of the pictures you're creating, enhancing the positive impact you naturally have, don't you think? With deep respect and gratitude, it's clear to you, isn't it, that your guidance has provided the relief I sought from the terror of my panic attacks? You understand how much I appreciate your help, don't you? What happens when you realize those feelings have drifted away, like a dream that fades the moment you wake up? The harder you try to grasp them, the farther they recede, until you understand they've completely vanished, don't you? A person may not know the immense power within them, until they discover how hypnosis and NLP can effortlessly transform their life’s path toward a more positive future, don't you think? I wonder if you're beginning to realize the profound shift your life has already taken since our last session, don't you think? A person may not know the strength within them to overcome anxiety, until they experience how easily they can let go and feel calm, don't you think?

Great examples and demonstrations of these language patterns. And for anyone thinking about joining the Academy, I found it invaluable for finally understanding how all the various elements of hypnosis work together to create amazing results. Mike's explanation of the Meta Pattern solved a persistent problem I was having, and now I feel like it's a no-brainer to walk someone through the process to solve their issues, even in casual conversation. This one detail in itself was worth much more than the membership fee for the first couple of months.

I've been going to different schools for hypnosis and NLP for the past 10 years and I crave knowledge as I'm sure you do too. And I took a course from Mike Mandel and it was truly a unique experience compared to all the other academies that I've been to. I agree there is a lot of value and for a great price. As soon as I'm done with My current practitioner certification. I am definitely going to sign up for a full course through Mike Mandel hypnosis Academy.

It's fascinating how some teachers, with all their experience, understand that words aren't always interchangeable and graciously allow you to call it one thing or another. When you kindly point this out in front of others, it often leads to resentment or a moment of reflection and growth for everyone involved.

I understand that many believe Americans struggle with linguistic skills due to limited education and governmental influence. However, it's evident that language challenges exist globally, and traveling reveals that every nation has individuals who haven't been taught proper language skills.

So I am midway through the video but some comments seem to be displeased with their explanation. I have anphantasia. I didn’t realize until I did a Past Life Regression session. I was guided in meditation by a professional. My eyes were closed but I was fully communicating with the hypnotist. He kept asking me to visualize things and I just went with it. (I honestly wanted my money back because I was thinking WTF) 😂 Eventually BOOM! He asked, “Where are you?” I was in Oakland, CA in 1985. Clear as Day with my eyes closed!!! It felt amazing. As I told my brother the story, he said, “what do you mean you can’t NORMALLY see anything with your eyes closed?” It was then, he introduced the term Anphantasia to me. 😩 I’ve been intrigued ever since. I have not successfully sent myself into that level of trance since. It’s been 2 years.

For the hypnotist, it’s easier to say “imagine” rather than specifically ask for the visual modality. It avoids this problem most of the time. And yet it still worked for you, which is great.

I dealt with addiction for many years and it took a lot away from me. I finally was able to quit and I worked with a master hitting the therapist for a few years and help me get rid of all the problems that were associated with it because after years of course the problems like my values being messed up believes identity all needed adjusted. Unfortunately it wasn't until he told me that he was going through an NLP class and I told him wonderful. We would make you a better hypnotist and he got mad at me and told me it had nothing to do with hypnosis and he must have forgotten that. I was working on my NLP Master practitioner certification and he said we're not doing NLP. We've done this before and he went through a submodality worksheet and I kindly went along with it but I let him know afterwards that I didn't appreciate him. Lying that I would have been okay if you wanted to practice on me but that ended our session. But it was my NLP Master practitioner certification. It taught me I could do NLP on myself and I've been working on myself everyday and I have new identities. I added a value done away with my away values by integrating them what of course I changed my beliefs all the time when they don't serve me and I'm always adjusting my identities. My values because I want my goals to align with my values. But if I have to adjust my goals I'm okay with it because I am chasing my values. But I needed to be medically helped with my problem before the hypnotherapy intervention because I had been on way too many painkillers from the doctors because of two back surgeries and a few screws on my shoulder. But the main thing is that what you're saying is true and I work on myself for me, my loved ones for my clients!

ALL MY FELLOW APHANTASIAS that have NO VISUALS like me. Oddly just go thru the steps and it works. Like setting anchors (ie I’ve set confidence on demand) or pulling trauma. Richard bandler I believe. I see nothing but I pretend to pull out energy of whatever colour spin it till it’s spinning so fast cant b stopped and place it back in. It works yet I’ve seen NOTHING. But I know what colours LOOK like. I know what a wheel spinning LOOKS like. Don’t need to actually see the shit. No clue how it works except what I think is we place too much need to have visuals that aren’t necessary. How we SEE works. I also manifest everything. I feel deeply and go thru meditations as we SEE things. ♥️

I instantly change it, I have added a value, and I change My identities to match my goals so I'm always chasing my values. I also changed my identities to make me a better person and better Hypnotist, integrating my parts, etc. Thanks, Mike. I'm always trying to be the best patient I can be for myself and my clients

Interesting. I learned something similar by touching the area where you have a bad feeling and reaching out and touching a screen that holds the memory of that bad memory and you can take it, make it bigger and the feeling is stronger. Next, you write down The learnings and then you wrap up the screen and throw it. Into the sun, or throw it behind you And make a sound like a thud where it's stuck to a wall real far behind you and you feel better. Very cool! Thanks again, Mike. Mike, I really appreciate you.

This is so cool that I'm going to have to look up parts 1 and 2. The question was have I tried a hypnosis technique? There are too many to put down. I've done instant deductions, relaxation inductions, metaphors usually three or four in one, and memory reconsolidation, I've come up with my way to do parts integration while someone's in a trance if they have trouble with the traditional. I have them go to the basement of their mind and meet two versions of themselves and then they can take on whoever that part looks like sounds like, And then I tell him what to say to each part, bringing them out of hypnosis enough to talk so they can visualize it and understand it better. I had a woman who couldn't get comfortable enough to be hypnotized so I named three things she had done powerfully using her mind on her own and then I suggested that this is even more powerful. I used the yes set and used conversation with hypnosis and presuppositions to have her in a trance pretty quickly and told her a nested loop just in case. Gave her powerful Direct suggestions and when she came out she said she didn't remember any of it but I wanted to make sure that our second session was a success since I started doing it results in guarantee and it was! But I'm stopping there and I'm going to look up the other two videos. Thanks, Mike!
