another way to do the whole saw when the original hole is bigger than the hole needed is use a piece of wood and tech screw it (with the screws inside the piece you are drilling ... now you can choose your centre with the wood and drill and as you cut it will be removing the little hole the tech screws went through - It is what it is

put the 1" holesaw on after the 2" is installed on the arbour (at the same time).....bingo you can now cut a 2" hole using the 1" holesaw as the center locator. It is what it is ;-)

You could lift rear of the car higher when engine and trans is going in. It is easier.

A bolt has a shank. A screw does not. Hence you can buy "set screws" which look like a bolt, but don't have a shank they are threaded the whole way. You're welcome ;) That being said I don't know if that's actually the answer cause short bolts don't have shank either, yet they are still called bolts. But definitely if you want a bolt that is threaded the entire way you order a set screw.

Why not just run a reverse flow turbo? Then the pipe work would be way easier.

What about some ribs in the rear fire wall to stop it drumming? A bolt has a nut, if it has a thread all the way up the shank and screws into something eg the block, it's called a set screw.

That was painful watching you trying to get the steering wheel off. Just bang each side of it rapidly with your hands, and it will vibrate loose.

Next time when you have a stuck wheel. Wedge ya knees under the bottom so they're pulling, then pull at the top with one hand and smack the steering column with a hammer make sure the nuts on level with the column but still loose. Works every time for me.
