This is awesome! You should edit that burnout on the flatbed into a short. It would go viral.
Hands down, the BEST DRAG N DRIVE EVENT.

Were you there?
1. It's awesome to see Nathan has grown in confidence with the Fairlane - he looks so casual now running 10s! 2. I'm pretty impressed the falcon T5 has handled the launch off the 2-step with slicks, even though it's not huge horsepower. 3. I reckon you guys can come up with something better for the T-shirts - no offence! Consider this a challenge to Nathan! 4. See you guys in Bright again this year - making the trek over from WA for the 4th time 🤙
The Hardass 1000. Every man and his dog wants to get involved. Congratulations to Harry, interested to see how popular it becomes 🎉
The best pub crawl around, with a bit of racing in between. Now I need a running Car next time and I'm In.
38:03 The Holden HX LE Coupe. I remember back in the day when they built these at the Holden Pagewood plant. Me & my mates rode our pushies through the plant watching Holdens get made. When we got to the southern end of the plant, we saw a ton load of the Holden HX LE Coupes all lined up in the finishing area ready to be shipped to dealerships. Great video guys, long but it was worth it! I wish they had something like this in the Central Coast cos I'd be in it for sure!
Absolute awesome video guys, going through all that footage and coming up with a great view on what it’s like to do the event, great job. Really enjoyed chatting with you lads. Keep up the amazing job, always appreciate watching 🤙🏻👌🏿💪🏿
Soon as I seen that shirt I went straight to the website to purchase one.... was disappointed to not see it available and thought it may have been an old design and I missed the boat... so yes... if you make it... I will buy it
Glad someone did some coverage of the Badass 1000. Good job 👍🏻
glad to see Kain driving, he looked happy 😊
Awesome video guys!
I’m gonna need one of those shirts Michael. The “this is my racing shirt” is something I never knew I needed until now!
What an awesome event. I miss driving so much.
Glad to see Nagambie getting some love! Well done guys!

Fricken Epic Stuff! Loved it!

Nice one fellas 👌
Awesome video, guys. Looks like everyone had fun. I should bring my 63 beetle next year. She has 145 hp at TRW. I could build an engine for the event. Anyway, a truly awesome video. Thank you for sharing it. ✌️ Peace from Melbourne/Pakenham 3810.
Go the slow cars. Yew. Looks like a top event, for ordinary people. Not into it myself but watched Haulass' vids and enjoyed it. Good to see your take on it.
Top one gents…. Looks like a great event. Like the new shirts too.
Maybe time for some new wiper blades on the Quey 😂
HQ gts or ss is the best looking 4 door on the planet

Awesome to hear mate, they are raceworks seats in the fairlane
PARMI!!
This event looks so good need more in Queensland What hp and pb is the fairlane running at the moment
that looks like an epic event i wish we had drag and drive events in NZ, how do you find the tru track on the street? and whats the T5 like compared to a celica 5 spd cheers love the channel guys
How did that T5 survive that beating!!! also is that actually a 'T Shirt"?
Rocky nats this weekend you guys comming should be fun
Truly thought the T5 would kick the bucket before you (spoiler alert) bent an axle but here we are
What part of N Z was that, good to see most of them nzers talk like aussies. Great job on the video thanks
You totally chopped that 76 Galant coupe, what a scalp! Go the thong slapper! I need to do this next year so I can race you in my LS400, it'll be pretty close I reckon!
A bit of graphite powder in the bailey channel will fix that window😂
They reckon Yowies are big units, take a look at Kian!
I know u just did the diff in the q but it needs shorter gears im guess it has 3.08 in it , t5 pair the best with 3.45 but ur large Salisbury so the closest ud get is 3.36

U should be crossing the line in 4th
I'm no mechanic but, but Im pretty sure about 150hp nitrous will straighten that axle up good 👌
Michael looks like he’s got “the bug” 🤣 What gearbox do you run in the Q ?
@HackshopGarage

I have indeed, it’s a falcon T5 mate
Don’t have to be Fast to have fun bro
Michael, you should practice slipping the clutch for longer and not just dumping it . When you drop the clutch at say 2800 rpm, the engine practically stalls, and the engine falls out of its power band and the car noses over. The car ran 4 tenths faster when you launch at around 4000 rpm because you slipped the tyre enabling to engine to stay in a better part of its power band . Slipping the tyre isn't the way to go faster, as radial tyres loose grip when they slip. If you slip the clutch instead of the tyre you get benefit of keeping the engine in it power band and gain additional grip by not slipping the tyre. In a purpose built manual transmission race winning application the clutch/ pressure plate is designed to slip so when the driver drops the clutch will take up in a pre determined amount of time to lock up.
what up my na/gas
Hey bro dont use 1st gear start in 2nd it shouldnt blow the gearbox. i dont think you have enough power to break it
🍺👏👍🏻
To fix the hq launch problems Boost fixes everything
Michael if you're not wheelspinning off the line you have the appropriate traction. Doing a bigger burnout is just wasting your tyres. Sure it looks good but you will get no extra benefit from doing it
Great video fellas. Just one technical error its a "parmi"
