You know what a Venn diagram is, right? Two or more large circles that partially overlap each other. Motor racing or any other top sport requires that three circles overlap. Talent, money and dedication. But the overlaps are tiny and the overwhelming part of each circle does not overlap. In the center there is a tiny area of top sportspeople. Money, talent and dedication on their own mean little. BTW most F1 drivers think that rally drivers are insanely talented! Go to the indoor kart track at the shopping mall. You'll soon find out if you can drive. All the money in the world won't compensate for that.

classy sports = tennis, golf, car racing, sailing. neutral sports = badminton, running, football (normal), baseball. not classy = american football, boxing, basketball, judo, muaythai. generally speaking classy = non-contact. just for the record, i dislike 'classy' sports, and prefer neutral to not classy sports. and i don't own a rolex or want to own one. rather casio, seiko for everyday use. and for a dressy occasion then cartier. but rolex is pretencious to me.
