Hi!! I’m Nicole, a medical student studying in Hong Kong. When I’m not studying/procrastinating, I enjoy reading and watching Chinese dramas. I love trying new things and often fail to get it right but the process is always quite interesting - my experience is shared here!
I love to share my thoughts and talk about life, school, and books. And how to juggle those things along with everything else that the world throws at us.

sugoi video!
I would also like to read more books this was awesome timing!!!
Hey great video, would you mind sharing the document that you used to practice effectively(the one you made the points on), as I take Spanish B sl this would significantly help me
This is a nice slice of life story, I really enjoyed the music you put to the video and found the slow rhythmic pace of your storytelling peaceful and relaxing. I am in Mexico at the moment and am trying to improve my Spanish. I found your video on taking notes for a foreign language very helpful. Thanks for sharing these helpful tips with the world 😊Good luck in medical school!
Thank you!
What if your ideas match those of your secondary sources? How do you ensure that you will not be accused of plagiarism?
very cool medicole
Thank you. Excellent video. I really appreciate you taking the time to share.
Dear Nicole, thank you for the videos! What was your math IA. :)
How did you get that extra card titled “lecture notes”? I only have “text” and “back extra”
When you edit a card, you can add new fields to that card type - this article explains how: datbooster.com/study-guide/additional-anki-features/#:~:text=Extra%20Field&text=To%20create%20another%20input%20field,when%20entering%20a%20new%20card.
I'm so happy there's a good syllabus available for the coming year! I also find it useful to identify and brush up on topics that I found difficult this year that will be expanded on in the coming year so I have a good foundation
Me to that one academic achiever girl 🛐

NOOO!!!! WE VALEDICTORIANS WERE SUPPOSED TO GATEKEEP THIS INFORMATION!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . jk this is top notch advice keep it up!!
Been looking for a study routine like this. Very detailed and methodical. Thank you so much!
Ty girl 👍👍👏
Your voice sounds so calming that you immediately have all my attention. Useful video and well put together ❤ I agree that finding a proper syllabus is very important it looks like an insignificant thing but it’s crucial as she said .
im just starting up my english EE! thank you for the video :D all your points were really eloquently put and helped me get over the anxiety of the blank page

'PromoSM' 💦
Hi! Thank you very much for the advice! I got a question about the cv tho, do I need to include the year of getting the award/joining the events?
I didn't include the year but it's really just up to you🙂
hello! I am a 2023 Jupas applicant. I got one question abt the cv after watching your video. Do you mean that for the one-page cv (CU Medicine), I can delete the lines that I have nth to write, we can edit the template? Also, do I have to elaborate on my titles? Only one line is provided for each post/title/award/experience. I am wondering if we are expected to fill in the title only, instead of elaborating on the title. Thanks so much
Hi! When I filled mine in, I deleted the extra lines to make space to elaborate on the activities what I did have - good luck with your application and interview process!
you are an absolute GEM! fr saving my History IA <3
This was really useful! Thanks for sharing.
Relatabad

I did it today. I got to 13 to 14 minutes. I talked about a beach party in Spain. My teacher said I did great.
Thank you, this has really helped me stress less about my oral
Taking my oral tomorrow 😭😭😭 barely had time to study up these last few days. Thank you so much 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Good luck!!
Do you know anything about being a foreign doctor in Hong Kong?
Not really…
Hi Nicole, good luck with med school and your channel!
Thank you!
@@Nicole_Su I'm also at uni, hoping to post some more study vlogs when I have time. I post daily vlogs if you would like to check some out?
first
Taking the first step can be pretty daunting while you're trying out different things, so thank you for encouraging us to push past that mental barrier! Great point on how important it is to document your life, especially the little things that make you happy :)
I'm glad you liked the video!🥰
Even a year after you're still helping IB Students, thank you for this 😭
do you have a job or are you still using money from your parents? 😅😅😅
I have a Spanish Oral in 3 months I'll tell you how it went using your advice
how did it go?
THANK YOU SO MUCH T^T
Your welcome!☺️
I am so thnakful you put this out there. I literally cannot thank you enough. It has been a wonderful resource and helped me figureout the general format when I was lost on how to start each section. Congrats on the 7!
what did you get?
Hi just wondering would the pharmacy interview be the same as the medicine interview in CUHK? because I couldn't find anything abt it online
I'm not sure about the pharmacy interview but i recommend that you call the relevant admissions office to ask or see if there are any admissions talks. Hope that helps!
Hi Nicole, I enjoyed watching and learning from this video. I understood many of the things you said after experiencing the first semester of Year 1 for myself. I would like to ask when did the grades come out for the first semester when you were in Year 1? Please let me know. Thank you!
I don''t remember but you can try asking the Year 1 course coordinator or your academic advisor and they should be able to tell you. Hope that helps!
Can you share your study method in medical school??
I've actually made a video on that already! Check it out here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/hWF1rcmwfcTFoZc.html
To what extent did African Americans impact music with the blues in the 190?
Thoughts on notion ?
I’ve tried in the past but never used it consistently. I might consider giving it another try in the future
