This the same with normal garden slabs
Yea these are just your standard garden slabs
@@SamDaviesBuilder just got my first house never done something like this and wanted to test myself any tips
@@BradJamie-zz3pf just ensure you dig out so you can get minimum 100mm of sub base (mot type 1) in and compacted and then lay your slabs on a 30-40mm mortar bed (5 parts sand 1 part cement with plasticiser). Make sure you get the mix right, there’s a few videos on how to mix on my channel. Any more advice just ask
what size pad is that please in need a 7mx4m pad in my garden
Not sure exactly but it wasn’t far off your measurements
Looks too big oven for pizza
Oven size is fine 😃
Where’s the bbq🤔🙄
Full video is on my channel 😃
Hello . 1. Did you use special treated brick or is regular clay brick okay? 2. Where can I find those printed instructions you’ve got in your hands? Thanks
I used an engineering brick but I’m sure clay brick is fine if you are just using charcoal. The instructions came with the BBQ kit I bought. What part of the world are you in?
@@SamDaviesBuilderwhere did you get the BBQ kit do you have a link? I'm on the UK
@@EndCodeTv I had it from Very.co.uk but I can’t see any on there now. Argos do one for a decent price www.google.com/aclk?sa=L&ai=DChcSEwiY6evTp-CGAxVZilAGHW_hDMkYABAMGgJkZw&gclid=EAIaIQobChMImOnr06fghgMVWYpQBh1v4QzJEAQYASABEgJh8vD_BwE&sph=&sig=AOD64_29BjXOZr9L6z6PaeQyCVbzkOayHQ&ctype=5&q=&ved=2ahUKEwjusefTp-CGAxW-XUEAHRMOBlUQwg8oAHoECAYQEw&adurl=
You should slurry the bottom of the slap first as it bonds to the cement way better
No need on concrete slabs like this if you use a mix like I do. However it won’t harm if you do primer them. Porcelain and natural stone must be primered
Overkill for cheap gold concrete council slabs
What way wouldn’t be overkill? Plus council slabs are 50mm thick, these are only 28mm thick
good job I've found from experience using a plastering trowel is faster for spreading your bed and your adhesive
Thanks, yea I’ve seen people using plastering trowels to do the bed I may give it a try
Not the right way be back there within 5 years do not copy this joker
So which way is the right way if you’d like to explain?
Nice job, whats the size of the base? And approximately how many bricks were needed to complete the whole oven please reply. If you can share the blueprints of the design. It would be helpful. Again, remarkable work!
Hi, thanks. I don't have any measurements or how many bricks I used I am sorry - this oven was for a customer and he supplied everything. I am building my own oven this summer and I will keep a record of everything so please subscribe for when I do.
