Glorious Life On Wheels

Carol is a 70 year old van life enthusiast who not only enjoys traveling the country talking to nomads, but also loves encouraging and motivating others to live out their dreams regardless of age. Carol spreads a message of hope to people who have given up on their dreams and shares stories of people who have often began pursuing adventure, friendship and spiritual growth while living in vans, campers, or even cars. She is also a strong advocate for homeless and is working towards getting legislation passed that would prevent vehicles that serve as residences from being impounded for parking violations. Carol has been featured on PBS, BBC, and Cheap RV Living.

The lady who dropped out after the first night was unprepared and set herself up for failure. She had no idea what she was doing, apparently had done no research as to what she needed. Apparently she hasn't been watching any of your videos or anyone else's. The first thing you are supposed to do is get yourself outfitted for your needs in the categories of sleep / bedding, cooking, bathroom options. Etc. She failed and that's on her. I would actually like to see new aspiring nomads to go out every day for a week and do daytime car camping and act like you are a nomad before you start all the driving around and sleeping in your vehicle. They could leave early in the day and go out and perform all the necessary things except the sleeping and get used to being in their car, outside, cooking in the car and maybe at a park finding places to be comfortable during the day, etcetera. Many people are nomadic/van dwellers but they don't travel great distances. It's not all about the driving, it's got a lot to do with just being comfortable with yourself and your abilities. I think the more people are comfortable with doing that sort of thing they can work up to spending a night or two out instead of just being thrown into the whole experience at once. THEN go off for a week or two. I think there would be a huge benefit that many of The kinks would be worked out. Set yourself up for success.

State of fl. It’s shooting or throwing a deadly missile which is a felony… because someone was injured it’s a felony I believe falls under battery. Either way it’s a serious crime. I’m not sure about Arizona laws. There are also charges for property damage in your case.

I gave up meat altogether ... 14 years ago. My health is better at 67. My budget is better. Oh, and then I gave up soda. Expensive sugar water that is only bad for me. I drink water, sometimes flavored with RealLime packets.

People who are in denial of how scary and dangerous this world is, are just plain ignorant. I appreciate your content, and I think its very smart to let others know what to watch out for, especially single women. The scriptures predicted how evil many people would be in the time we live in. (2nd Tim 3:1-5) There ARE all types of predators. There are scammers, carjackers, you name it. Nasty people today arent happy to just steal from others, but they have to harm or kill them too. Sickening. Be hyper-vigilant. Keep up with the great videos, and when the naysayers become someone's victim someday, they will see things different.

Maybe you should block the person that made that ridiculous comment. You are providing valuable information, besides you have a background in law enforcement, and I would trust your advice over someone that has no experience in law enforcement. You cannot fix stupid. I appreciate your content and I enjoy your videos. Keep doing what you are doing.

I'm 57 people are getting meaner. I'm a loner more than ever out of protection against the evil. I pray for strength, because it's hard to keep being good in a world of evil. Vanlife is hard, it not all bad, but the economy and people everything has gone down hill. I can't even afford section eight they raised my rent after signing a lease after four months for $205. I have to move right back in my van. I either have to pick an apartment or a car payment. The wages suck. In Portland Oregon the wages are the lowest in the West Coast, but our rents are like Seattle. Life is what you make it. I just make my little van my home. I thank God for Bob Wells and channel like this that support Vanlife, because living in a van there's a stigma, but the real stigma is being poor in the United States. They don't want to own up to paying people such a horrible wage that they have to live out of a vehicle. The real crime in this country is GREED! Peace and light and love.

With so much violence today, whether from illegal immigrants or drug heads or insane people, it just doesn’t seem safe to live like this anymore. How much fun is it to CONTINUOUSLY having to watch with your head on a swivel? That just doesn’t sound peaceful. That’s why I’ve seen so many young solo female van lifers who are quitting it. Stay safe out there whatever you decide.

This is good advice. During the pandemic, I wasn't able to get my plaquenil due to rumors that it cured it. I've always prepped due to others needing food. I'm now just trying to organize everything I have. I'm not sure if she mentioned it or not, but medical supplies (bandages, etc...) are always good to have on hand.

We hope that some company will buy this idea and make many mini van houses like this !!!!!! It is so amazing for both camping and MINI HOUSE ! The governer shoud have this idea to build npmininhouses and use the empty land for a MINI HOUSE VILLAGE to help low income persons, families, and homless people ! We have so many empty lands , unused, but people just live on the streets and make the city dirty and stinky !!!!!!!!!
