    Florida is not what is once was, it is way too expensive here. Rent ,food,insurance ,medical cost all of it has gone up the state has become unaffordable and unlivable. The traffic is horrible the Florida residents are leaving. Way too much gentrification lots of homeless people . The beaches are contaminated and when it rains it floods horribly like 5ft .They don’t care about the low and middle class families they only favor the investors and the wealthy entitled people. The state is so saturated with immigrants ,tourist and snowbirds that finding a job has become difficult, you really have to stand out. Jobs are not even paying enough to make a decent living . Central and north Florida are going up in price soon it’s all going get like Miami. Good luck coming here ,if you are living from check to check stay away from Florida.

    Rule of thumb is that you do not buy property east of IH-35. As for Taylor and Manor, both towns are dumps. If you want to see what Manor looks like, just take a tour of the high school or middle school. You will know then and there what you are dealing with.

    Manor, Texas? I work in Manor and the town is a dump. Never buy property east of IH 35. Avoid Manor, Elgin, Kyle, Buda, Hutto, Taylor, Round Rock, Pflugerville and most of Georgetown.

    The Californians ruined Austin. It was great about 20 years ago. The locals hate what has happened as they all know no one cared about Austin before a few celebrities went for a visit.

    The homes are built stronger and sturdy in Florida. But it's expensive. Alot if snow birds are still flying down to the east coast haven state. Real estate is always hot but it's hard to get a price with those low salaries. Your career can thrive in Texas to keep up with the mortgage. But sometimes it's about where your family may be. That can sway your decisions. Each state has its benefits. But you have to pay for good education most places in Florida. Texas takes it. Teachers are happier in Texas too. #texas #florida

    @@LiveInATX i firmly believe it's Texas. No competition. I frequent Orlando and Tampa to see my parents and family. It's cheaper to buy a home in a neighborhood with low crime and great schools in Austin, Fort Worth and Dallas metro for example. But you really do pay to play in Florida. But I think both places can make a person happy.

    Question is there a master plan community in Austin that is similar to cypress/ bridgland Texas?

  • @LiveInATX

    Hey there! There might not be a master-planned community in Austin that directly mirrors Cypress or Bridgeland in Texas. However, Austin does have several master-planned communities known for their amenities, green spaces, and planned development. Communities like Circle C Ranch, Steiner Ranch, and Mueller might offer similar features and amenities. Happy to discuss this more. Feel free to Call/Text at (512) 270-0966

    Texas is lower than the average if you live in the sticks with red barn yards everywhere with zero amenities. Very cheap - one of the best cities to live in Texas is Plano , TX and it is extremely expensive. Austin , Dallas , etc is extremely expensive as well on the average. The problem is you got trailers in the middle of nowhere fucking up the numbers of the average cost with 200 people living in unheard of towns throughout Texas. Most people who come to Texas aren’t going there and they are shocked at the cost of living in most areas of Texas

  • @LiveInATX
    @LiveInATX2 ай бұрын

    Thanks for your insights! You're right, Texas has a wide range of living costs. Cities like Plano, Austin, and Dallas are indeed pricier, reflecting their amenities and economic opportunities. Rural areas might offer lower costs but with fewer amenities, impacting state averages. It's important for anyone moving to Texas to explore specific areas to understand the true cost of living. Appreciate your comment!
