correct, you don´t need thirdparty like Ozone... Cubase has absolutely great professional effects like Raiser, Squasher, Magneto, Multiband Stereo Imager, Frequency Dyn EQ etc. and other tools for mastering. great vid!

Cubase has the BEST midi editor and midi composing tools! No doubt.
It's all about quick decision making. I love the conviction when you just wipe the acoustic guitar out. Mind you I tend to mute/disable tracks until the bitter end just in case.

I've notices some issues assigning these outputs to their designated Group tracks. I'm not able to route them in the inspector, but doing it in the mixer it will work. I use this method to record audio from SD3 (create audio tracks and select the corrsponding group track for input). Now you can record each instrument seperately.
Does this work the same with Kontakt ?
No doubt Cubase is an awesome Daw but still there is something missing for producers like us from the South Asia, as we have the option of 1/3 in the piano roll of FL studio which makes it easy for us to work in our genres of music but no such option is there in Cubase midi editor, I hope one day the said issue will be resolved and we will also move to Cubase
Can you please do Newbie Videos for first timers? I write songs, play guitar- just bought my 1st Daw, Cubase pro 13- and I have no idea how to do anything and dont know what it all means!!

What algarhythm are you using? I switched to elastique pro time formant. i got error message Time align has has been deactivated because pitch falls outside preset range. I hit Q nothing is moved

Cubase is amazing for music production, but is lacking features for my genre..
This is one of the reasons why Halion and Groove Agent are my go-to's for instruments and drums when I start a song. It would be cool if with Halion the mixer channel would also automatically appear named if you assign the vst channel first, like with Groove Agent.

Upto now, I mostly duplicate the drum track and produce each sound on separate tracks, thus providing a separate channel for each drum, then mix each one back into a stereo group for compression, reverb etc I’ll now look forward to watching this and see how it could work moving forward! Dom is a Cubase Guru!!!!
