  You can program multiverse time travel chess and diplomacy….but not clicking buttons. It’s like a real life person maxed out one branch of the skill tree and never touched the other ones.

  My dad got diplomacy when he was in college and the furthest he got into was reading the rules. So last christmas me and some of my siblings gave it a play and we managed to finish in about 8 hours of play time.

  This video is a youtube Magnus Opus. We need more from you like this! I remember i loved dinosaurs as a kid and even back in '91 when I was 7 that anyone that didn't believe in the impact hypothesis was a crackpot. I was heavily influenced by my dad who was very well educated in science debates and would explain things like that to me very well but still let me make my own conclusions.

  Category theory *can* be used to classify real things if you’re deranged enough. Yesterday I finally applied category theory to the question of the classification of sandwiches. I asserted that several things were sandwiches by the yoneda lemma and widely accepted axioms. For example, because an open-face sandwich is widely considered to be a sandwich, I asserted that jam and toast was a type of toasted open-face sandwich. Naturally I pissed off quite a few people with this assertion.

  This is such a fascinating video and I really love to get to see the process. I'm also always thinking about if what I believe is true is really true and where the heck did I hear it from. So, I think we need a mechanism of consesnsus, fact checking, something that makes it easy to access academic science without having to understand all the mambo jambo written in the papers. I do have an idea for a project (which is just an idea and some hand written action points right now). So please give me your input. Tell me what would make research easier. What you would need to happen for you to see the established consensus or lack thereof. ❤ thanks!

  maybe you could use a “time fleet” to ferry your units accross time timelines. This could help make it more difficult to time travel and slow explosion into a billion timelines that seems inevitable
