Me too. Just got home from my morning fishing trip. Did really well for the situation. They started bush hogging before 8 am and that pushed them deep again. It seemed like dead sticking was the better presentation. Very subtle bite.

Centering pin with the Neko Hook is how I do these and the Powerbait Gilly. Haven’t tried the nail weight in the belly I would assume it makes it swim more correct
I do the Gilly the same way as well. The nail weight in the belly just helps get a little bit more casting distance. These baits don’t cast well.

I’ve definitely seen a good bounce back in walleye numbers over the last few years. Good sign of a healthy river. I’ve actually caught more walleye than smallmouth this year which is a first for me.

I've wanted to do the float from Bethlehem down to the rt33 launch since we moved here... but same... always when given the chance, I hit up the big D.
Sometimes it so hard to break away from the comfort zone. I saw a lot of great water and if there’s that many smaller fish you know some big ones are mixed in. I wish they would remove the damn in Easton and chain damn. Restoring that flow would be incredible.

Yeah I definitely plan to include it in the rotation much more now. This trip was a quick, limited exploration. I saw a ton of nice pockets but access to the water is tough in spots

I fish the Easton area. I look for current and structure. Faster water, chunky boulders, and about a 6ft depth or deeper.
I have a shad E and I’m thinking of putting it on a spinner bait and tossing it out there for peacocks
I would love to fish some Florida canals for Peacocks one day or do one of those house boat trips
