There are other reasons that artifacts and coins get into the river. Riverboat accidents and sinking.
Awesome water hunt! Thank you for sharing
Nice hunt, great to see Smiley again!
You guys should save all that brass and handed in at the recycler because where I live it's $2 a pound
Nice Dig Kurt Muck & SmileY!!😁
Those cannons are amazing! I believe they are actually Spanish-American War era or just after. It looks like the pins on the M1902 visor cap. Awesome finds as always!
Great hunt guys you made my Wednesday thanks for sharing 😊
The 39 cannon pin is awesome ! Great hunt guys !!
Whoever said why do you dig coins/relics out of the water cuz they look like crap needs the boot lol. It’s still history no matter what it looks like.
I think your pin might be Span-Am war era.
^5!
Good morning/afternoon, hoover boys
So glad water digs are back. Keep them coming!
For old dudes it’s so much nicer hunting water. So much easier. I gotta get out. Haven’t been in years.
I started keeping all of my metal to run to the scrap yard. Especially copper brass and bronze...you can make some serious cash with just a 5 gallon bucket full.
I think that the whizzer copper you found at 2:30 is an Irish George the third half penny. I think I can make out a crown near the top center on the side without the big clump of green on it
If I could ever afford to buy a good detector I’d spend a lot of my extra time looking for coins and stuff
Hey Smiley. Beautiful copper Muck. Great variety of finds you guys. Muck fumbled at the end, too funny 😂
❤️💯
Great finds ! Great to see Smiley out.
Do you hunt in all metal or do you use some discrimination??
@@jimlybarger9456 99.9% I'm wide open. I like hearing everything
Love the camel, so cute. The tiny eagle, too. I agree the one mystery item looks like a flag holder.
Awesome finds guys! I love that tattoo on Smileys back.
Kurt, from what I found, the Cross Cannon artillery pin is from around 1902.
@@chrisanderson9856 that's what I gathered as well
I wasn’t surprised when you said you were beat. I was tired just watching. Wonderful day!!
The tiny button could have been from either baby clothes or even off of a doll’s clothes.
Thought that fish knife was kinda cool! Not something you see everyday!
@@wiseguysoutdoors2954 thanks! Me too
Stephen foster was mentioned in the movie Tombstone, what i think of when i hear the name.
That’s the old school highway where you find everything.
I’m surprised you haven’t found alot of native this year. The 39th field artillery is WW1
@@jeffmcgrath2202 haven't sifted for them. I'd like to soon
Washing clothes in river makes sense coins lost. My great aunt used to ride a horse and wagon to a river and wash clothes there boiling soapy water in a metal kettle
incredible amount of coins overboard. is it still somebody has a hole in the pocket they surely wore clothes ragged near about
Another super interesting video!....Suggestion how about a contest where ONE of your subs is invited to go out for a day with you guys? Of course he will have to be close BUT. SURE WOULD MAKE THAT SUBS DAY!!! Just a thought!
We need a video with the whole crew in the river b-rad , Billy, Bobby, I want the full og crew and is muck ever gonna do a face reveal or is this like home improvement he is gonna neighbor us til the last episode lmao ?? Keep up the great vids much love from Tennessee
@@dl88c17 haha! That would be great
A piece of musket side plate by the buckle? 🤔
You guys make this look fun.
The small navy button may have come from a officers cap
You should review the new Garrett vortex
Proof that great minds think alike. Muck’s sifter looks just like the one I built. I used white zip ties. I only wish that mine had the same kind of finds on it
@@davidraines1380 hahaha!
The thing with the handle in the wrap up reminds me of a powder measure. Not sure, but I've seen it somewhere!
You need a new intro......
@@dominicpardo4783 ideas?
@thehooverboys Hahaha... not sure. But you've been opening that fridge and grabbing a beer for a looooooong time.
@@dominicpardo4783 It's apart of things
@@thehooverboys Fair enough.
Those clock frames are likely from mantle clocks.
WW1 39th Coast Artillery
Fantastic finds today!
Nice finds, but no hummer this week. Thanks
@@bogipepper hahaha
Can you tell us about your scoop / handle construction? It looks custom, but not sure.
@@EB-ck8zg I did in the first water hunt video this year
@@thehooverboys Awesome. Can't wait to watch it, thanks!
is smiles and boots brothers
@@bungie38 nope
I have a pretty decent arrowhead collection and I would say roughly 80% or so of them were found in a creek bed in Amite County, Mississippi.
If it's as hot up there as it is here in Alabama I'd be doing river hunts too. Love that cross canon piece.
Awesome spot this week! Congrats on the spanish silver and the cross cannons pin! Great job guys!
