Swear on my life found a small 10k ring just sitting on the top ledge of my local coin star, woop woop.

Amazing year boys, saved an incredible amount of history once again! -Side note: Please pass on to Chris that I Turned 44 this year and my wife took me out to our local taver. Long story short, my friends bought one too many shots for me and I started shouting "Woo! 44 ladies that's me"! Needless to say, my wife was mortified! Hope I did Chris proud!

Coinstar hunts: back in the 1950s my dad ( may his memory be a blessing) was just starting in work, and he would get his entire paycheck in coins so that he could hunt for coins. I still have the flying eagle that he found in his paycheck change in the late 1950's.

My best coinstar find - in 2019 I found 40 USA silver quarters of 1939-1964.

Hey man I still can’t get number one comment but hey we all know second place tries harder. I was paralyzed 4 years ago and then I found out I wasn’t so now it’s therapy and fingers crossed in a year or so I’m coming hunting, so Billy will be back. Seeing B-Rad is always a treat 1730’s tavern was incredible! If Brad made it out he’d be unstoppable. The gold coins are hilarious and cool at the same time. Yay Chris did the 44 shuffle! The lord Baltimore & Snake buckle were my favorites this year although I laugh at every episode- you guys have saved some amazing history. Stay safe and eat your lunch!

@@thehooverboys I can get us into Washington’s Crossing state park in Bucks County Pa, it’s where Washington crossed the Delaware River. There was a subdivision that sits inside the park and they can’t prevent detectors there. With the creditably built by the Hoover Boys as genuine historically motivated hunters- we could save some incredible pieces. It’s something that motivates me to work harder on rehabilitation. Your gang has given me so much motivation- except Brad, he’s just the luckiest person alive- just let someone else pluck it for him please.

Nice finds. Been detecting for bout 51 years. I am lucky to find a lot of civil war items here in my area around Columbia Tennessee. Best find to me last year was a 1776 2 reale at a 1810 site that has been hunted for years. It is a very historic site and can't say to much about it. You can tell it had been rubbed on the front but the back was crisp. I am sure it was purchased to celebrate our independence. I wi always cherish it and wi be passed own to my children. 17:48: That is a 20 Kopek coin from Zaristic Russia. .900 Silver. Buying Power over there back then about the same as a quarter Dollar. That half Franc (18:08) from 1968 is Cu-Ni, they minted them in .835 Silver until 1967.

No surprise that the two most amazing finds, the Flowing Hair and the Lord Baltimore coins were dug up by Brad and Kurt. Your two deserve those treasures and each other. Wish I could hang with you guys just for a day, it would be one of my best days of detecting...

What a awesone recap of all the treasure and history you found last year! The nicest thing though was seeing the old boys again. I really hope Bill is going to recover, soon! Fingers crossed! I bet he is looking forward to your return to the 1700's bottle dump, so nice that you saved it for him. Also congratulations on the gold you found in the jewellery bags from the trash, that's very lucky. About Mark's coins - he was right, the 1968 Swiss ½ Franc is a copper-nickel coin. He was just one year off though, until 1967 they were made from 83,5% pure silver. His other European coin is a 20 Kopek coin from the Russian Empire with a St Petersburg mintmark. I found the same exact cash coin 3 days before Christmas 2023. I was bottle digging and it rolled out of the hole. It was from 1770 ish. There wasn't an exact date. And I gave it to my mom. ( me and her both collect coins so I gave it to her for christmas)
