Being a kid with no gaming pc or pc to use (idk I think it was just my bro pc) in the 2000 I had to made do with all the PlayStation and ds ports of the sims games. I afraid to admit how much time I have spent on these games but have SO many fond memories of it. So it made me more appreciative of the pc games 😅. If you really want to play this game, PCXS2 1.7 works with the game, I replaying the game and not had any issues with it.

You should play Bubsy 3D but NTSC U/C version. Not PAL version cuz PAL version is much unplayable than NTSC vesion. The NTSC has better controlls, camera a the screen isn't that wide.

Yeah, maybe just replace the disc... Or emulate it. This game doesn't really take that long to load. The smoke should've dissappeared, the pizza guy should show up at home, and after "mom" dies, a Game Over screen should appear lol

I remember this game well, I have it on Xbox. It’s not supposed to do this. The smoke should spawn some lady that you follow into the hot tub. Oh hey, he managed to see the random dream woman. Not sure what the disc is doing. The game should’ve ended the second mum died. And firefighters should’ve responded to the fire since there’s a smoke alarm. (I was always annoyed that the game started with a dream sequence but never let you play through a dream again)

I don't remember it ever locking up or bugging out on my PS2 back in the day. I actually kinda prefer it to the PC version because it actually gives you goals to do, same with Sims 2.
