I’m 90% certain I passed this woman by the river in Inverness, Scotland earlier this year. I’ve always loved this rendition and wish I’d had the courage to say hello.

this is a wierd comment but getting into Tori's voice is making it easier to have lost Sinead's... very different voices but both of them have expression that just pierce me and let emotion course

One of my favorite songs, and like I love all of her music, but I remember I used to have the single with her on the tree brings back next emotions! It was the best of times because I had my one true love with me now he’s gone and I just don’t get those again so hard and he got Tori, and I loved her before , but he really got me in her!

She had to sing this song multiple times at a Florida concert I went to, since they were getting a live recording & wanted lots of cuts to choose from, it was a real treat, that event later became the video release called "Welcome to Sunny Florida", which was another real treat to get later on, not knowing they would do that. 💚💚💚

@@peternewturkey Yeah, I saw almost every show she did back then in Florida & nearby states too lol... at least 30 shows, I kind of lost count after a while, she's amazing live! Definitely go anytime you have a chance, its always unique and magical!💚💚💚

Tori did a cover of total eclipse of the heart that blows my mind. I never cared for the original but tori's version is amazing. and at about 3:40 she does this key change that just gives an amazing depth to the song like never before.

A very good cover, thanks for posting here. The instrumentation in the original is a little thin as it is, so taking it down to just the piano is completely appropriate.

1:58 - Is it me, or is she REALLY off at this point? No criticism, just an observation (with my ears)! I know she's great a lot of the time, but there are many... Cyndi Lauper for instance... who are PERFECT live 100% of the time. When someone like Tori fucks up singing 'occasionally', it's like a surgeon fucking up operations 'occasionally'.

Great song but the live version is much more impressive, especially the on PBS in Chicago I think. Now that is so impressive, one of my favorite renditions of the song ever!
