Only Tori Amos could redo this and make it her own... yet still stay true to the original...Her version might just be as good. This almost begs to be put in a movie soundtrack somewhere in the future.

She ripped the pomp out, threw a few ghosts in and it works. Probably because she is f***ing brilliant.

Woah this is amazing.

I love aerosmith alot and I thought this is going to suck at first. But while this isn't as heavy as the original, it is overflowing with emotions the same level as the original. Musically, this is an exceptional cover. Gave me goosebumps.

A very good cover, thanks for posting here. The instrumentation in the original is a little thin as it is, so taking it down to just the piano is completely appropriate.

Thanks for posting this, LizardWizard7! Tori Amos IS my FAVORITE musical artist (I know...I know... I DO have a FEW favorite musical artists...), and "Drean On" is a GREAT song, as everybody knows, but THIS Tori Amos version is the very, Very, VERY BEST rendition that I have EVER heard!!! What a HEART this won has! What a VOICE this woman has!! What a SOUL this woman has!!! She IS unmatchable!!! And it is SO true ~ Isn't that the way... Everybody's got their dues in life to pay... And who knows? Maybe tomorrow the Good Lord WILL take it away! Personally, I have confidence in His guaranteed promise to step in and intervene in the fine mess that Satan, Adam, Eve have goten all of us into and to fulfill His temporarily interrupted plans for Humankind & Planet Earth! Have we demonstraed yet that we simply CAN NOT run our lives & this planet without Him?!? Again, thank you, LizardWizard7!!!

There is an old clip of Tori just doing the chorus of this song and i always wanted to hear more...but that clip was from 94-95 era i believe. i think her voice had a different feel to it then. perhaps i would have loved this cover more then...because she would have had it a little more faster and more of a rock feeling. all the same..love tori.

I love this cover, but I can se why someone might not. However, listen to the last 50 seconds of it. THAT IS PERFECTION. Ahhh, when I get stoned and listen to the last bit I can feel my spirit rising through my skin, or it might be goosebumps. But, that ending makes me want to cry 1000 Oceans. Okay, ys, i am stoned right now. Amazing performance, never the less. But, everyone has the right to their own opinion, yaya qui qui ci ci.

I love Aerosmith, and I love Tori Amos. And of course I can respect and appreciate everything that both artists do. I do not particularly care for the way this cover sounds, however.

With the rumors that Steve yler has quit the band, even temporarily, Tori might be a good fit based on this song.

Correct. Her voice has got better as her material has got weaker. The crossover was Scarlet's Walk when he voice got really good before her songs got boring.

I've never understood this logic. How does someone "ruin" a song by covering it? You don't like it, you can always just listen to the original. A cover doesn't take anything away from the original. Plus it's simply *your* opinion.
