1) they lie 2) confided and shared your story to others 3) they love drama and gossip 4) manipulation Don’t share anything! Your coworkers are not your friends! If they gossip about others, they will gossip about you. Take it from a 51 year old woman that survived pharmaceutical sales for 25 years. Don’t share, don’t gossip, stay to yourself, be positive and just do your job and go home
The PM has it tougher because at the end of the day they are responsible for more - including the actions and mistakes of the Superintendent. The PM OWNS the project. The super oversees it. TL;DR the video creator went the total cop-out route and just concluded that their jobs are equally tough. Lol, weeeak!
Respectfully, you're cherry picking. "Responsible for more" is only one metric of difficulty. I've worked in this industry for 17 years and done both jobs. I'm guessing you didn't consider that I have experience in both. Try both and you may reconsider your "cop out" comment. There's a big variance in how PMs and Supers spend their days depending on company and type of project they're on. Your own experience may reflect what you've written, which is fine. Many supers say the exact same thing you did about owning vs overseeing, with the titles reversed. Food for thought.

Should I report my coworker? See, our boss was in his face and practically called him slow and fooIish. Well, he got back at her. A month prior, our boss once told us she was literally sick of raspberries, because she once threw up after eating expired raspberry pie. Well, yesterday, there was some raspberry tarts in the break room, and my coworker told her they were cherry. But then she tasted raspberry and threw up. He "innocently" claimed he thought they were cherry, and she bought it. Well, later, I saw him laughing to himself and giving himself a self-five. I think he tricked her so she would feel naus eated and embarrass herself at work. She was disrespectfuI and beIittIing to him, yes, but to do this to her? Should I tell her?
Man, tough situation. I can only give my opinion of course. Since they’ve both shown some signs of animosity towards each other, it may be best to let it play out between them for now. The feeling of doing nothing can seem like we’re being complacent, but it is the best option in some cases…
@@pmproblems Yeah, maybe you're right. And I can't lie. Outside of business and professionalism, I personally thought she de served it. Especially since the guy happens to have a learning disabiIity and she made him sound imbeciIic (unintentionally, but still rude) Oh, _man,_ was she mad when he signed up for a one-person shift. No wonder he got back at her.
Thank you so much for the information 🎉
You’re very welcome, thank you for watching
One coworker was super nice, but when I denied a request, she lost her mind and threw a tantrum, threatened me. I don’t even want to be in the same room as her now.
You know who was the biggest gossip in my office: my supervisor!!! She was like a damn viper!!!! I had to leave that place to keep my sanity!!!
That's tough! Caught between a rock and a hard place. Glad you got out of there!

You’re welcome, glad to hear you found this helpful!
Yes, and hateful.
This video fits my situation to a tee
Sorry to hear you’re experiencing that!
HR doesn't give a fuck. Leave.
You can't trust anyone
👏🏼
It doesn’t matter educated you are, there is only one thing that can make you a project manager. That is you must have a complete understanding of what you are undertaking. You mate have a very good mouth but until you can completely understand what you are trying to accomplish. That is why a lot of projects fail to accomplish what they want for to accomplish
😳 'Promosm'
Gonna become a Project Manager and Obtain my CAPM and PMP with experience and time. I’m done with truck driving.

A very good video. Thank you very much for shating.
All true
The work environment is all about survival or paying bills. It’s not about trust, friends, like or dislike; it’s about MONEY.
Unfortunately this is true in many instances
But without trust, there is no reason to be there. Go make money in a trustworthy environment.
@@rockstarofredondo😂 You are funny.
Never trust anyone at a job
Especially the boss
Is someone watching Stomp in the background?
Hahaha! 😆
I like it . All.out war!
I can hear your wife playing Tropico in the other room
Lol! Neither my partner at the time of recording or I have played, but if there's a specific timestamp where something's heard, I'd love to listen
@@pmproblems The music is from the game Tropico 5 or 6
Excellent video😊
Thanks so much
Hi sir, finally I'm writing my thoughts down here. Your channel has really inspired me. I spent a whole day going through your videos when I was preparing interviews for a site engineer role abroad, I'm soooo excited about this role. Even though it is true, I didn't realise how much this industry is worldwide saturated more importantly, how this has an effect on the everyday life of Indian engineers I grew up in India and 7 years before completed my B.TECH(CIVIL- ENGINEERING) and now I am doing normal civil engineer job in india !! This is so embraced and I feel this is a headache I still can't move abroad I am trying it. I want to encourage Indian engineering students, especially those from the Indian community and with lack of English barrier and also it being their second language, to follow their dreams to become an engineer in Abroad. Only one chance to give me I will perform definitely
Glad to hear and thanks so much for the comment! No doubt you'll find the opportunities you're looking for abroad in the very near future - I can tell you have the motivation to do it!

Good ideas. Most projects have regular meeting cycles: risk meeting, coordination meeting, site meetings, variation review meetings...good to track these and number each item per meeting, for easy reference on later correspondence. Also key items where possible to both site locations and WBS items. Makes searching for either location or WBS item able to show the whole set of matters relating.
A co worker constantly going to HR to complain that you are not doing enough work. E.g You are on a late shift and they are on earlies. They complain you left stuff for them to do in the morning. However, when you are on shift together you end up doing most of the work. I.e with kitchen porters some seem to think that all they have to do is just wash up and then go home and yet they don't clean the kitchen as well and expect others to do it for them. So when not all of the washing up gets done the night before they complain to HR that you are under performing.
I have a coworker I'm dealing with and I see many red flags about her. When I was new going on four months now I was all excited and relaxed with her thinking I was going to make a friend turned out she has been saying some things behind my back of all I have said. Giving it a little twist to making me look like a bad person. I even believe she is taking it to the boss of anything I say or do is being used against me. I feel like I'll be losing my job soon. If I don't say much or talk to her or anything everyone else will know that I'm being rude. She sets me up. So,. I been trying to not say much at all only good morning and start working. But she becomes like static cling to me....I can't shake her off. It's every job I run into this kind of manipulative situations. Easily well hated person that I am. 😔
Sorry to hear you're experiencing this! I'd recommend documenting anything you can, staying in contact with your boss, copy multiple people on group email updates, memos, etc and generally try to remain in neutral as often as possible!
Document, document, document.
Stay as far away as you can from her. She sounds like a total nightmare. Like a bad smell that does not go away.
You are doing right just by speaking and jumping into work. If that person tries to bring up anyone, tries to gossip , you don’t say anything. That’s how they trick you. They are the ones that be cool with who they talking about. I would keep being professional and complete your task. Trust and believe, you will get work done without engaging with them all the time. I see those kind of people as miserable.
@@BB23573 lost my job in March. So guess it do t matter now. :(
From personal experience no matter how niece they might seem, and even if they offer you drinks or food.... Never ignore your gut. They are snakes luring you in.
Just seems like a lot of work on top of already having too work tbh smh.... People just be hating their lives and want too take it out on you for no reason because they think you're doing better than them.
Are you serious? For years, I experienced this. I reported this to HR. My Boss was on my computer all the time. I did the work of two people and held accountable for others work. Bad Workers will put a company out of business. It is 1 problem with some companies going out of business. The Other is Government. 😇
Sorry to hear. Seems like many of us have these experiences, across the board a shift has to happen soon!
