Is college worth it in 2024? Many young adults find themselves asking this question lately. Perhaps you’re one of them.
Can’t say I blame you. When one considers the cost of attending four years of college, interest rates on student loans and job market uncertainties, it only makes sense to wonder if getting a college degree is worth it anymore.
Alternatively, more and more people are realizing that some people without degrees are doing just fine - those working in the construction trades, for instance, are making a fair bit of money WITHOUT getting a degree at all, making some pretty great wages while avoiding student debt altogether.

My name is Patrick and in this video, we’ll be talking about whether or not a college degree is financially worth it in 2024.
We’ll dive deep into what the career forecast looks like for both college graduates and for tradespeople alike.
Lastly, I’ll cover some of the pros and cons of pursuing a career in the trades, with some of my own experiences working in bridge and highway construction mixed in.
