Thanks for the clear explanation. Is the ZO brightening retinol harsher? I found it to be a bit harsher but maybe it’s because I got the 1% while I use .05 tret. On another note, for melasma, I tried the Alastin LuminA but was not impressed. I’ll try the Even Skin Tone from Skinbetter Science next. Also tried one PRP session and didn’t see changes. I know we need several sessions but hoped for better results. Will try laser next! Thanks again for the wealth of knowledge you share with us! 🙏🥰

Wish I had seen your video sooner! I only started the Alastin nectar 3 days prior to Erbium laser and then used for 2 weeks post-procedure. I 100% agree with you about the benefits of Alastin. It made my skin gorgeous prior to the procedure and I swear I could feel a difference in my skin. If I could afford it I would incorporate it into my regular skincare routine. Very much appreciate your thorough explanations about how the laser works and wet healing. Excellent video!

My dermatologist is also board certified in facial plastic surgery so I trust her when she recommends a product. After trying a couple of medical grade products I can truthfully say they have done great things for my skin. Alastin and Skin Better are two such elegantly formulated lines that I love.

Dr Ania what would be your gold "go to" protocol for someone with minor hollows and a bit of fine lines and wrinkles under the eye? Would you choose filler + under eye creams you mentioned before starting a laser resurfacing such as CO2, Fraxel and Clear and Brilliant? Or would you go with Filler + a laser resurface procedure?

I just bought the retinol .5 and the ultra light moisturizer. Great sales can be found on SkinBeautiful Rx n occasionally Lovely Skin They seem to be well formulated products but horribly overpriced . Very interesting introduction about the development of this line. Thk you so much for sharing .

Great video. Clear and Brilliant is a great starter laser treatment for a glow and minimal result. Fraxel offers true anti aging and facial rejuvenation. I was a laser tech for 7 years and have had many treatments done to myself. It’s worth saving up for Fraxel is you want or need amazing results. It’s my favorite laser treatment ever!

Our facial contours are similar. I agree wholeheartedly here with you. It’s better to take a break and wait before things get worse and perhaps begin again with a lesser percentage. But the results are beautiful.

I used to use the obagi nu derm system and am wondering if you recommend doing this peel with the ZO Night Repair product as being superior to using the nu derm system over a long period? My concerns are melasma but also now skin texture. Also, is the 1% retinol in the ZO product the same as 0.1% tretinoin that I used to use with Nuderm? Thank you for this video.

Alastin Regenerating Serum is a miracle worker on red spots, but it's SO EXPENSIVE. It really, actually, for sure, gets rid of red scaly spots, aka Actinic Keratosis, but it's only temporary and when I stop using it the red spots return. I can't keep spending $238 per ounce for this stuff.

After my deep plane facelift my doctor gave me an Alastin pack with the nectar, moisturizer, cleanser, and sunscreen. I think it’s working. I’m 21 days post op and my healing is going very well. I have very sensitive skin and was concerned about irritation but I haven’t had any.

Hi, thanks for the very informative info. I've been using Zo with my beautician for nearly 2 years. Im still learning! Researching Zo, I saw that it's sold on amazon and eBay at a considerably lower price than my salon. Im always sceptical of products sold on these platforms. I would appreciate your thoughts? I’ve tried this product for two months (from samples given to me by my aesthetician) and quite honestly, it’s an okay product but definitely not game changing. I’ve had several dermatologists and aesthetician I’ve visited pushed hard on this product and so gave it a try but it’s just meh. It’s equivalent to using a drugstore brand so based on the price, I would not recommend.
