    Thank you for this detailed video, the best! I’ve been doing the clear & brilliant for 2 years , once a month for 6 months and I love it. I prefer the permea for texture. I’ve considered the Moxi so this was a great comparison video.

    Wow, you just made all of this make so much sense! Ive been researching for so long but it was hard to conceptualize. Now I know I would rather have several Clear and Brilliant txs, than a fraxel because my busy lifestyle at the moment. When my kiddos are much older, than a fraxel will be in my future! Thank you for your time and dedication to sharing your wisdom!

    I had my first fraxel treatment today. Compared to my red light treatment last year, the fraxel is WAY less painful. This new doctor numbed my face for an hour which might be the reason why it hurt less, or maybe the numbing cream was stronger? Anyway, my face is feeling quite warm now, but not painful. I'm so excited to see my results. And hopefully it will be better than the red light, which gave only a slight improvement for my pre-cancerous legions and brown age spots. The fraxel laser is expensive and insurance does not cover, which seems kind of crazy when you consider if it prevents skin cancer it is much less costly than cancer treatment would be later.

    Great video. Clear and Brilliant is a great starter laser treatment for a glow and minimal result. Fraxel offers true anti aging and facial rejuvenation. I was a laser tech for 7 years and have had many treatments done to myself. It’s worth saving up for Fraxel is you want or need amazing results. It’s my favorite laser treatment ever!

    Thank you! Aerolase Neo is nice for acne because it helps minimize oil. Resurfacing lasers are good for acne scarring, as well as microneedling.

    I had my first clear and brilliant laser,i believe the premea. Was very tolerable and yes felt like a sunburn. I did find I was red for several days, is that normal? What is your go-to skincare regime after these lasers for best results and quick healing? Love your videos!!!!

    I swear by the Skinbetter Cleansing Gel and Alastin Skin Nectar for post procedure care. Yes it can be normal to have a sunburn feeling for a few days. If the treatment uses more energy and is on a more intense setting, the sunburn feeling can last longer.

    I wish I lived by you! I’m 36- for over a decade I have spent thousands on products and treatments to get even skin tone. I have hereditary dark freckles on cheeks and melasma around mouth. My dad is Italian so I tan easily. I just had a consult for aerolase laser. In your opinion what laser recommendation for someone who has darker freckles/melasma on face. I’m tempted to fly to see you lol also the only thing that I’ve seen any results from is hydroquinone. Thank you!

    It's difficult to say because there are so many lasers out there. We can certainly do a zoom call. Melasma is always very challenging. Sometimes hydroquinone can do the trick Occasionally people try prescription tranexamic acid and have phenomenal results but, there are contraindications to this medication so a good history is important to obtain.

    Hi Dr. Ania ! I’m looking at getting clear and brilliant treatments and wondering ❓❓how far apart should each of the 4c and b treatments be spaced? And also, how long should you not use your actives prior to the treatment? Thank you very much!😊 love this channel! ❤

  • @theocbeautymd

    @theocbeautymd

    Thank you so much!!! You can do them 4 weeks apart. In terms of stopping actives, I would ask your clinician. Some stop 4-5 days in advance, others don't. So it's worth having that conversation.

    Lasers are not used to treat skin cancer but pre cancerous lesions can be improved with resurfacing lasers like fraxel, halo etc

    What is the difference between profrac and Halo and which one is stronger or better? 😘

  • @theocbeautymd

    @theocbeautymd

    7 ай бұрын

    There is no "better" but better for different concerns. They both have a 2940 wavelength (ablative) but halo also has a 1470 wavelength (non ablative). Halo tends to have less downtime and doesn't treat as deeply as profrac

    It depends on you. If you want a strong treatment with downtime or gentle treatment without downtime. It depends on your skin and how much resurfacing it needs. Every laser has a purpose. You'd need to get a consultation to determine which is right for you.@@anusharma3351

    Of all the lasers, I would not have chosen to buy the clear and brilliant if I thought other lasers were better. I love it and think its amazing. But there's a purpose to every laser. They are different because they have different targets and different down time. Some are safe on darker skin tones others are dangerous. It just depends on what is best for each individual. @@anusharma3351

    It probably wasn't the fraxel as much and the person operating it. I'm sorry to hear that. That is truly unacceptable and should not happen.
