Train and Tram Videos from around Victoria!
Welcome to Comeng998 Railway Videos,
On this channel you will find many videos of all rail-related transport including steam, diesel and electric rail traction from across Victoria. Also, you will find many videos of Melbourne's famous tram network.
Presently, I am expanding the variation of rail transport videos beyond the border of Victoria, so stay tuned for more videos from the other side of the borders.
The final area which I cover is model railways, where I have videos from major model railway exhibitions around Victoria and my own models on the Australian Model Railway Association's (AMRA) 'Stonnington Valley Railway' permanent layout.
Currently our major areas in order of priority is:
- Model Railway Exhibitions
- Victorian Heritage and Special Movements (flexible uploading)
- Transport Movements
- Model Railway Reviews (3-4 scheduled a year)
Thank you all for coming along to check my channel and enjoy!

Great video mate, well done
Another great video mate while done I didn't do it this year I did it last year and that was enough for me
I went on this with my friend and I was a birthday surprise , it was so amazing!
The Puffing Billy train of lights is a spectacular event! Looks like you got some great shots mate, another wonderful video.
Great video mate
I love the '80 gone and counting' level crossing sign out the front! Great video mate.
My favorite shots where at Wondabyne! Great video mate.
Cheers! Absolutely gorgeous place to sit back and relax Wondabyne is.
Lovely work as always 😊 👏
Very busy man lol lovey video content
Great footage matey
Great video mate
Some different views to others I've seen so far. Nicely done. Hope you didn't freeze at Glen Iris while waiting for the transfer. I was home cooking dinner when I heard it at Syndal.🙂😉🙂
Cheers. Yeah, wasn't too bad out there. Time was really ticking on having enough light though.
Great video shots
Great shots 🎉
so what's this new livery called slightly grey red and green nah I'm just kidding great video
Great to see 7A back in service!
how much does it cost?
Initially when the model was released, it was $660. All the variations are now out of stock and the value of the models can be higher than the recommended retail price these days.
I think there is a typo in “merri”
Yes, that would be correct. Cheers.
Hey mate what a great video while presented great locations the location that you picked a for Boronia that's what I would have done to too wet so I kept pretty much to the stations but that location at Boronia to return trip from Bayswater is a prime spot a million-dollar shot
Nice one mate, certainly looks like it was freezing
Cheers! It absolutely was!
Well done, Adrian, for suffering in the appalling weather so I can watch this two days later from the comfort of my living room, inside from not much better weather. The trespassers around Boronia had me gasping. Now for some hot soup for me and chicken/milk for the meowing furrball outside - better let her in. Cheers, and hope to see you along the track next Saturday.😀😉😊
Why did Steamrail have to pick such a rainy day? The train was really going for it through Heathmont when I saw it! Great video mate.
Cheers. Yeah rather unfortunate for the weather but it did give the opportunity to shoot differently.
@@Comeng998 Thats a positive way to put it!
Great idea at Steam rail to run these trains both together and at this time of year steam looks great anywhere
Great work and patience for this project mate different locations is not an easy task sometimes Well captured and love your work
nice locations and video
Hey bro fantastic video great catching up with you after a long time I hadn't seen you hopefully we'll catch up over the next two events as well
Thought about going out there in the afternoon, but decided that my chariot needed a run elsewhere to prevent battery failure in our chilly weather. Inspected two big holes in the ground at Burwood and Heatherton.😉
The A2 was much faster than the Tait Set. Great video mate.
when did Steamrail get their hands on a Vline power van
Most likely around the same time as the others were allocated. It was on display during this year's Open Weekend.
Jeez, you got it going really fast!
Super great video.
Great video man. 👍🏼👍🏼
Excellent Video, We got each other in a few of our shots.
27:00 - K 190 coming through the steam was really cool! great video mate.
Nice footage, some fantastic layouts in attendance. The way you’ve positioned the camera in some scenes really did the layouts justice. 👍
Nice one bro my one out this sat😊
Some wonderful layouts
Great layouts, got to see my fav loco the VR Y class. One thing though, Warragul isn't in the Latrobe Valley, its West Gippsland. Moe, Morwell & Traralgon are in the Latrobe Valley.
Cheers. You are indeed correct, but the name Latrobe Valley is connected to the club’s name who have their clubrooms located in Moe. Usually the exhibition is held in Morwell, but the hall was unavailable last year, thus being moved to Warragul. Should note this information was in the description.
@@Comeng998 Makes sense. Wish I was living back in Melbourne. I'd shoot down the highway for a look. The model railwqy scene here in adelaide isn't great.
Metros own app still calls it the Pakenham line!
everything is good about the station exept it as NO customer service
I managed to get there on the final day, and I also saw the indigenous Xtrapolis
I meant to go to Ringwood East but unfortunately missed my opportunity. That goodbye sign was nice! Great video mate
