I am just about to adopt a 6 month old whippet. My two family dogs passed away this year and my kids are now both in college-wanting a whippet-best dog beds/ cushions for the house?? Our previous dogs were primarily outside but kenneled inside ..

You probably got a buttonhole attachment with your Brother machine. They're a pretty standard accessory. If I could come show you, I would! You just need to put the attachment on and try it out on a double or triple thickness of cotton fabric scrap. You will LOVE it! It's super easy today. Some of them use an actual button you slip in the back of the attachment to get the correct size buttonhole. It's been three years so maybe you don't need my encouragement anymore. One tip I would offer it to let it make the completed buttonhole twice before removing. Slip your seam ripper in between the rows of stitching and carefully rip the fabric being careful not to cut into the buttonhole stitches. Your rompers are adorable! Thank you for doing this.

Some tips for the binding! Sew your binding strips with the walking foot because you will need it for the binding. When connecting strips to make binding: 1. Don't match up the corners, let 1/4 inch stick out for both 2. Put tape down on the sewing machine straight down from the needles so when sewing on the diagonal, follow the tape down 3. Put the second strip underneath the first so the extra fabric on the wrong side sticks up (first strip sticking West, second strip sticking South) 4. Sew on a diagonal from NW to SE

this was so relaxing! i came here after reading about how a whippet (yesterday?) saved a man in Oregon who had inadvertantly driven his car over a cliff...the whippet ran 4miles with glass embedded in his snout and successfully alerted friends. I dont even own a dog, never have because of allergies mostly but also cuz i i worry i wont be able to figure out a plan to care for them to when travelling or on the road working long hrs away from home ;-( This seems like a pretty cool breed though! Thanks

Really enjoyed making this by following your instructions! Thank you!! I noticed that when I did the "stuffed turkey" step, I needed to put the skirt part wrong side up to make it work out correctly (minute 7:35). I am now making it a second time around, different fabric, yay 😀 I see why you made a few too 😊

great video! And you proved that Milwaukee is safe to travel to and walk around for a solo woman by herself. As an outsider, besides some crime issues one of the only things I can see that might hold the city progress back is high property taxes. Other than that the city looks fantastic in summer 🍻 Can you please put Buffalo, NY on your itinerary. Hit up Niagara Falls while there. Or do an epic Buffalo-Niagara-Toronto 🇺🇲🇨🇦 bi-National trip? Buffalo is noticeably smaller than Milwaukee but still an under the radar gem

I use my copy machine to copy smaller pieces. The skirts are pretty standard squares but it needed copy in sections after use the original to join. I enjoyed your makingbofbtge outfit
