ffs too much going on can’t watch
This is amazing, so much work and well done🎉🎉
Noggings are not aligned and spaced to far apart so as to prevent twisting just saying !
As my first ever project /attempt , I’d say it’s pretty damn good . The noggins were spaced around 600 distance if I remember rightly, could be wrong, and I had gotten advice from the timber supplier as how to do them. They said due to the size of the decking, add noggins and then on the next gap, put the noggins half way between the previous gap’s and keep the same spacing. I think it depends on the decking size how you do it? As long as there’s equal pressure on both sides so it doesn’t twist I’m sure it’s fine 🙂
Noggins don't need to be aligned,it's personal preference as it still does it intended job,a few inches either side will not cause an issue..
It says NO NEED FOR SANDING yet you say to sand btw coats?????!!!!
Yes, there is no need to sand your skirting board down to the wood before painting as you usually would with gloss paint. With any paint project, sanding between coats ensures a perfect finish
Was this Matt vinyl?
Yep 🙂
You could have also placed the posts into metal holders and bolted them into your patio...could you not? I'm doing something very similar hence the questions!
I wonder if you could have got away with not putting the 4x2 on the roof in the middle as well as the two 2x1's. Or would that lose strength with the plastic roof?
The 6x2 was def needed as it helped with the overall structure. Ideally for this width, I should have added a third post at the front. The 2x1s alone wouldn’t have been strong enough
The 1x2 rafter across the middle...is that sitting on top of the middle 4x2 as it's not clear. If so, the other rafters going down would be going over that hence there would be a bend. Would you please explain where that middle rafter is in relation to the middle 4x2. Thank you. Great job!
Hey, no it’s two lengths which are pocket holed into the middle 6x2 and side 6x2s x
Thank you! I've looked at so many but you are the one I'm going to follow! Keep it up :)
Very useful. Did you ever put a roof on your pergola? I want to build one at my house but I’m not keen on polycarbonate and corrugated types so could do with some ideas!
Omg that is amazing!
Is that David Wilson Ashurst ?
Do you know what kind of rabbits they are? How big did they get? They are very adorable 😆
I believe they’re Dutch, and part lionhead. They’re fully grown now, and are smaller than my french bulldogs, maybe about half the size?
Ace job 🙌🏻
Nesting 132 -
Can we get a full length on the floating shelf? What hanging bracket did you use?
Excellent job.
Where is part 2 and boarding around the hatch 🥹
Great job, we have the same plasic pipework in our flat, so this was very useful. Thanks for uploading 😊
It’s so pretty 😍
I can't find part 3 with the roof if your rabbit run 🤷
By the way - Great video!
lesson learned: don't impulsively buy live animals.
😂 pretty much
Absolutely love how you have designed and built this, well done 👍🏾. I definitely will be building one of these this summer with the added poly roof. Thank you for your inspiration and easy to follow description. Bless. X
Don't laugh but cling film over the toilet for when you drop those smaller parts... has saved me more than once!
So is the one in the video less than 2 m from boundary? It looks higher than 2.5m, or is that just the camera angle?
It’s just under 2.5m at the tallest point 🙂
@@_OhAbode great. So difficult to know these days
@@_OhAbode do you need planning if putting a heater or log fire in there
As far as I’m aware, if you put a chimney flue or antennae in, it will need permission x
So complex. I was thinking inside wood burner for winter lol Looks great. I see more and more doing this themselves. Saves money
good on you girl there should be more female handy people👍👍👍
Thanks! Are the rafters strong enough? I just purchased plenty of 4x2 for the rafter which I think would be heavy. How many screws went on to the wall? I just downloaded this vid. Thanks
They’re strong enough for decorative purposes, or to secure a poly roof, but if you want to hang anything like a swing chair or anything, thicker timber, used on its thin side will be better! I think I spaced the screws every 30cm so maybe 8??
Great job. Much cheaper than the pre cut kits and probably better quality timber as well.
Great video, so good to have such a good breakdown! We'll be trying to do the same in your house, do you remember how far apart you did the wooden slats? and any idea what size the slats were? thanks so much!
Hi, What was to total cost & time taken to execute this vinyl wrap project of yours?
❤ smart woman😊
Can't hear a thing you're saying which is a real shame.
Theres subtitles
Nice tutorial but the excess sunlight some part of the video made it difficult to see. Kindly please do another close up video for us❤
Thanks to this video, I was able to change my radiator to a towel one! You gave me the confidence to do it myself so thank you :) If only i could insert a picture... super impressed with it.
Oh I’m so glad! Well done you 🎉
Thanks so much Jasmin. I really want to do this myself. All the videos I searched for where men's at first. I finally found your video. I have the confidence now. 🤗🙏
Thank you for this information. Looks great.
Good video
Omg this is amazingly beautiful As you inspired me I’ll try to do one for myself 🙈
No I wanted to see an unfinished project, thanks
❤😂
Love it 😍🥰❤️💯
You did fabulous and have renewed my confidence that I can do it . Well done . I hope the pregnancy went smoothly and you and baby are well . Thank you for the simplicity and easy to follow instructions ❤️💯👏💪🥰
This is way too fast. It made me dizzy. Can you slow it down?
did you use a wall plug for your nails because your walls are masonry/cement render as opposed to plasterboard? i noticed that you just directly nailed in for the chord though.
Now that it’s been a year, how’s the wear and tear?
That is what I was wondering. We may never get an answer.....
You’re gorgeous
I have a porch with tiling on the walls. I want to insulate somehow. Could I use these? Would I need to cover or paint the tiles first? Thanks for any advice x
Yeah! And nope you just can glue it straight on them x
This is so cool! I do believe in rabbits being housed inside, but this is awesome!
I thank you for explaing with detail the way you connect the wires and how you put everything in order, so many people just don't bother to explain that... your explanation gives confidence in trying a very small one. Your result is brilliant, literally brilliant and brilliant because it is marvellous!
Where do you buy the vinyl and what is it called. Great job
It’s DC-Fix and I got this lot from create your world, they have loads of styles and also samples to help you choose x
Shortening the pipework was the easiest bit, You already did the hardest part!
