If anyone is wondering, the discount code for the font set still works as of July 5th, 2024! It's really a great set and well worth it!

Hi, after trying to follow your tutorial for 3 times, unfortunately, I have to say your tutorial is not helpful. It isn't working well and your speed isn't helpful as a tutorial. Hard to follow.

great tutorial! I had fun with it and created some nice things. One question: if I export the image to jpg it smoothens out the noise, also if I first make a copy of merged layers. Can you send me in the right direction to an export setting which doesn't smoothens things out? Help very appreciated!

I use this technique with a regular noise filter instead of reticulation. Trying out your method I feel like reticulation maintains a bit more detail than noise and the style is visually more appealing too. Great tutorial

I originally used normal grain too but discovered that Reticulation had a really nice organic look to it!

Ideally it should be applied to a photo, but I wonder if it's possible to manually paint some gradients to apply the effect to a illustration or logo. I'll have to experiment!

My mind just got blown by the ability to switch the text font by letter. I didn't even know that was an option with certain fonts. What did you push to be able to pull up those options? I couldn't figure that out by watching the tutorial.

Was obviously an awesome tutorial 3 years ago but sadly I can't follow it with the newer version of Illustrator - had to abort - will go and look at your library to see if you have added an updated version - might be a good idea to remove this one now maybe.

My camera produces 54 meg - 9000 pixel x 6000 pixel images. Without changing the resolution from 300dpi, If I crop out the central part of my image in photoshop to a size of 6000 pixels x 4000 pixels will the quality and detail of each image be the same? when printed? Obviously one image will be larger in size than the other. I am trying to judge if I create original images with high 54meg Raw files, by cropping into the centre of the image can I use this technique instead of buying a longer lens for my camera (ignoring effect of dof) This to me is confusing, please explain. Many thanks
