Neon Sign Effect Photoshop Tutorial

In today’s Photoshop tutorial I’m going to show you how to create a bright, illuminated neon sign effect. I’ve created many tutorials in the past that provide you with a combination of Photoshop layer styles to produce a colourful glowing effect, but today we’re going to take it to the next level with more detail to make this neon effect look much more realistic with glossy tube reflections, wall mounting brackets and dangling power cables.

Great tutorial, helping with my homework project immensely! I want to add in the brackets but it seems the links to all the spoon graphics assets/site are not working... I went to your blog from a google search and found this tutorial and the links aren't working there either :(

The effect is incredible, yet, it turns out like shit for my project as I was making little logos and when I resized it it obviously pixelated like crazy, should've done it on Illustrator instead... But on the bigger picture it looks excellent.

Chris what are you going to do when the new AI big corporations come to take every single graphic designer's job? Im actually very scared because this is my job and my passion and I will end up with nothing.

I don’t think the AI will fully take over, but it will become a useful tool for the Graphic Designer to use. It’s a little like how stock photo and design resources websites have taken the job of a photographer or designer already to some extent, but it has provided opportunities to others
