Thank you for this vidéo i have à question which curve we can plot in this simulation exept force-displacement ????
hello sir, could you please tell us how to find the area of a set in abaqus using python code?
Thank you so much for this video. It helps a lot on the project I'm doing.
I have a problem with 2 unconnected regions in the model. How should I fix it?
You are amazing.
Hello! Very good video mentioning the problem of penetration of 0 thickness cohesive elements under compression . Could you please elaborate on how interactions are set up to prevent penetration after cohesive elements failure? Thank u in advance for any useful reply!
Thank you for the video! Could you also please upload the python script?
What is the output /result of this?
how can i model interalaminar cracks(transverse crack) with the same methode ?
Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us!
sir i have make the riks method in abaqus for neohookena ,but i dont know how ,i can plot pressure function deformed inner radius
Can we get a stiffness matrix from this simulation, like elastic constants for orthotropic(9) or anisotropic(21) material? Please tell your opinion on this.
Great video keep going brother
Thanks for your good introduction, I have a question: in abaqus, how it calculates the stress intensity factor? through J integral? If so, why we can't choose J-integral? Why only KIC can be obtained through J-integral? Thanks very much!
sir please continue the series
Hi. I want to plot crack length of delamination in mode I with vcct method,,I use crack in history output but I don't found it in result why? The crack in history output use just for xfem and integral contour or for all cracks
thanks
I am not sure whether having two elements through the thickness is correct given that you have selected the whole model and defined the lay-ups. Here is the information from the manual "Continuum shell composite layups are expected to have a single element through their thickness, and that single element contains multiple plies that are defined in the ply table. If the region to which you assign your continuum shell composite layup contains multiple elements, each element will contain the plies defined in the ply table, and the analysis results will not be as expected."
You should be more careful with your data. You are showing your selfie with some ID card, your personal email, school email. That's asking for trouble. Great video!
Mantap bang
thank you for the efforts, it helps i am currently working on composite materials in abaqus
That's a very good explanation sir, thank you so much
Very nice explanation
I am getting error saying: Problem during compilation How can I solve it?
Please how to calculte the traction separation values (E/Enn...) From expérimental curve F=f(displacement) for the DCB test.thanks
Nice teaching brother..the content is good I’m working something similar but spheres in 3D RVEs but the loop was giving issues..
Hi, will you make a video on Larc05 damage evolution? Thanks
saved by life :)
I have an error for field outputs. Unidentified field outputs. Can anyone help me
Very will done. Thanks.
Great Stuff
thanks for explanation if you can make vedio on using pile soil intraction by drucker cap yhanks
Hi, Can someone please tell me what are the units have been used here for the model? Length is 400m or 400mm?? Also for the stiffness?
Thanks for your videos. I am trying to get the coordinates of the centroid of the remaining elements after some of the elements are deleted. Elements are being deleted using subroutine (VUDSFLD) based on integration point temperature. Now the element deletion will keep occuring after every time step and I want to loop over the time step and get back the coordinates of the remaining elements after each time step. Could it be done?
Can I use this method forRVE model with many particles?
Thank you so much. It is very useful for us. Keep uploading these types of videos and techniques. :)
This is very much useful. Thank you so much. Keep uploading these advance level things. :)
Dear sir, you have mention that Concrete Damage Plasticity is suitable for modelling Epoxy. Can you please give me the reference of that? I really need it. Thank in advance
Thank you very much for your video, but there is a question that has been bothering me for a long time, where to input the cohesion of the materials.
Thank you very much, Dr. for these good lectures. I have a question. How do I determine the volume fraction of two materials in the case of preparing a slide or layer consisting of polymeric material and fibers at rates of 30% and 70% in the Abaqus program? Is there an explanatory video available?❤❤❤
Loved the approach, you tried to write the script in a pretty much utilitarian fashion.
Kindly provide how to calculate SIF using XFEm method in CAE 2020
how to clear the command line interface??
Why you don’t use any interaction, because you used interaction at part2. Thank you for
thank for your video. How could you get the right position of the fiber in line 96 and 97..I did not understand the step..I mean where does the "+/- 0.01" come from? Could anyone explain me that?
Hi, I want to get temperature, y-coordinate and pressure for some nodes. As usual when i get node number in the visualisation we see the node label. But the data for each node on their node list index number. what is your solution for this problem? actually node list index number and node label are different.
how do you get the critical stress intensity factors?
Thank you sir for your detailed explanation about DP. Sir you chose tension in the DP hardening behaviour when subjected to extension. But in the case of the compression field you chose tension again over compression. My question is what about compression? Why didn't you choose compression over tension?
he overlooked it. By any chance if you have reproduced the model with the modification of specifiying the compression in material instead of tension as he mistakenly selected, share the results.
our lecturer told us to make an abacus using python. please are there some source codes that I can learn from.
