Hello, I have my cae/input file where I ran a model in the regular simulation. It has all material properties, Boundary conditions and everything. It ran perfectly. Now, I want to run the same model in CPFEM mode so I need to use UMAT. But whenever I attach UMAT subroutine to the job and try to run, my job is aborted. Do we need to change the UMAT subroutine for each of the models that we build? If yes, where should be the changes?

No you dont need to change umat at all (assuming the umat is indeed working properly). What you need to do is to make sure your input file is correctly setup for the umat (for example sdvars and nprops).

I am getting error saying: Problem during compilation How can I solve it?

Sr I got an error while compilation. It says that, "Problem during compilation - C:\Users\ADMIN\Desktop\ABAQUS_UMAT\sma_um2.for". Can anyone help me to solve this. Thanks in advance.

It means there is a typo problem in your code it fails to compile.
