I think by activating 'STATUS' in the field output the issue of element deletion can be resolved.

Thank you! This is very well explained! That is what I met, the stacking direction was different for different partitions. If you have a cohesive layer along 3 degree, is any requirement for the meshing technique?

Hi Ran.. nice to hear from you. What do you mean with 3 degree? Z direction? So you mean 3d case? No need requirement for the meshing tehnique but make sure that the stacking direction is correct.

@@FEADith Hi~~ I mean that the cohesive layer is 3 degree in this plain. In your example, the cohesive layer is around 60 degree, which makes the meshing relatively straightfoward.

Can you please give me a suggestion on cohesive element compression using interaction? Seems like cohesive element doesn't work in compression with interaction properties. Let's say an example of rigid sphere compressed into cohesive element-substrate contact. Thanks

why right hand side bottom also has high stress?
