How can I contact you? I have worked in the animal field all my life as a vet tech, trainer, & professional groomer. After a head-on collision I am on a mission to cut down on dog bites with kids. My bullmastiffs have been an inspiration & continue to help in my mission.

I wasn't even looking for a dog but I started following and the way you present everything is so enunciated and crystal clear whilst at the same time friendly and opened. Kudos for all the time and effort you put in this material.

I've had 4 bullmastiffs over the years, still have one, they are without a doubt (in my opinion) the best family dogs, they couldn't have been more gentle and affectionate around kids, one of my sons now has one himself, they're an amazing dog, they are very needy in terms of needing affection, they need to be treated accordingly, wonderful family dogs

I lost my bullmastiff 2 years ago. He was the best boy ever. So good with my kids. My youngest was only 3 when we got him as a puppy. She had this little rocking chair she would sit in, eating cheese. That big bullmastiff puppy would belly crawl over to her until his muzzle could just touch her foot and then he would gently lick her big toe. She'd giggle and give him just a crumb of cheese. This would go on and on. Never did he jump on her or overpower her to take the cheese. They grew up together until he passed away at the age of 10. He guarded my kids like that was his job and he never hurt one of them, even on accident. He seemed to have an innate sense with kids and fragile adults and was especially gentle with them. But I saw him in protection mode a few times and I'm really not convinced he would have only knocked the guy trying to break into my house down, and held him there. It's a good thing that tweaker could run.

I’ve had them my whole life. Stubborn but extremely loyal and loving. If you don’t like massive lap dogs they may not be for you. Training is easy as they are very food driven

I rescued an adult bullmastiff from a rescue agency and later rescued 2 English Mastiff puppies. My bullmastiff literally trained my pups house training, manners and how he walked the fence line perimeter daily. Such incredible breeds.

Two Cane Corsos killed an 11-year-old boy up here in Alberta Canada while he was visiting his dad. They said he was a kind and gentle boy who would never have antagonized them. His father had a roommate living with him who owned the dogs.

There’s a dog place thing 30 miles from my house. I’ve been looking for a compliment to my pitbull. She is just an awful guard dog. Not territorial, but person protective. This place has an English mastiff and a Bullmastiff for sale. Hopefully this video is all I need to decide. And it’s also the dog I will eventually breed said big 70lb pitbull with…

I am picking up my new Bullmastiff puppy in two weeks. This will be my second bull mastiff. I wanted to do more with this dog and was wondering if you thought it would be realistic to train the dog how to track. I do understand this will have a lot to do with the individual dog. I live deep in the country and my kids like to roam the woods. I thought it would be cool to teach him how to track their scent in the event they ever get lost.

I'm ready for a new companion after my rottweiler died a few years ago... Rollo was my service animal as I live with PTSD and he was my best friend. I miss him so much. I'm thinking about getting a Boerboel Mastiff soon and have a breeder picked out. He needs to be able to come everywhere with me, including my workplace (I own a theatre company) and I like the slightly more chilled disposition of these types compared to my working line rotty. Although, as everyone knows, it's all about their environment and their owner... he will get so much attention and love from his environment that I'm sure he'll fit in perfectly. I just need a new best mate to hang with me in my office and keep me centered on my walks through the forest behind my house. I know what I'm doing, I've trained many large dogs and rehabilitated some problem rotties successfully to be rehomed. So I'll raise my mastiff with a ridiculous amount of socialising... I think I've made my choice, I've always had rotties, although Rollo was special and I don't think I'll ever get another rotty like him... this time I'm going for a Boerboel. I'm going to name him Cecil. I can't wait! Only problem is, owning a dog like this brings A LOT of attention. Walking Rollo was like walking down the street with a freakin' rockstar! I'm sure my Cecil will bring just as much attention lol 😂 It's part of the deal though, I like to be different and it helps me socialise too. He just has to be a boy, because I only have daughters and work mostly with women. I just need at least one boy in my corner lol.

It is funny…. I’ve seen the BEST behaved big dogs because they HAVE to be well trained to be out in public. You can’t pick up your 120lb bullmastiff and walk away if you don’t like what walks around the corner 😂😂😂
