My last bullmastiff sailed with my family and I around the Caribbean as well as the eastern United States. He travelled to approximately 35 states, 3 countries, the USVI and Puerto Rico. He was perfectly fine as long as we were with him. He went was as happy in a T-Mobile store on Broadway in New York as he was staring down a tortoise in the USVI. The key to the bullmastiff is getting them to trust you and follow your lead. If you have that down and time to spend with them, they are the easiest breed.

Wonderful breed !!

We are considering a bull mastiff as our next dog. This channel helps us understand the breed and what to expect. I've always had small to medium dogs, and I want to make sure we will be a good fit and both people and dog will be happy.

You'll be so happy. They are big drooly lovebugs. Just socialize and train them from day 1 and your dog will make you laugh at their stubbornness, make you drink when they go through their fear stages, and sleep soundly because they are on duty while you sleep.

I love your videos and the fact that you have actually made a really good looking harness for big breeds, but do you know if there are any good muzzles for bullmastiffs out there? No matter what I try, the muzzles always end up in my pups eyes and nothing fits him. I tried the fabric ones, but the problem is that he can't open his mouth in it, and that just won't do. BTW, it is for use on public transport, since it is mandatory to put a muzzle on dogs when going on the metro where I live.

30 years with the breed and I won't go with any other breed.

Wow 30 years! I recently got one and have been loving him so far. He's still just a pup but he has been a great dog so far. Picks up on things really quick
