Have to say I love your video's. You are my refresher course! I have 4 amazing bullmastiffs! 3 Males, 1 female ( No I do not breed! They would make a move crazy lady with 102 bullmastiff...She kept them ALL!) Youngest 15 weeks old, my oldest is ten and half years. There is always a few years between training. Thank you for my reminders!
I grew up with Bullmastiffs in South Africa in the 80`s...a choke chain and when they pull, you pull back, mix that with teaching them to sit, heel and stay and the pulling stops...my male was huge, twice my weight at the time but I walked him, by myself, every day and once he`d learned that it wasn`t a race and the Alpha was on the other end of the lead he was a pleasure to take for a walk...
Will can you talk about how to address an adult bullmastiff rescue.? He’s 5. Are the training techniques the same for an adult? Thanks

My bullmastiff puppy which is 9 months old pulls for the first 10 minutes of a walk because he is overly excited. After the initial 10 minutes he is fairly well behaved. Should this be trained out or with maturity will he settle down?

Yup...out of the yard my dogs were the friendliest animals you`d ever meet, so at club meets and out walking they loved every person they met, inside the family property however they were completely different beasts, they guarded every inch of the property like their lives depended on it!
Would that work with an Anatolian Shepherd also? He pulls my girlfriend all over the place and he's only 7 months old.
I make my newfies sit when they pull.
Will there ever be a video where Will doesn't call Bullmastiffs glorious? xD
