Its not really deep… but it is forbidden to stand on the ruïns. Kids should je able to swil, I guess. Maybe it they are Able to float with a lief jacket?

It is all about money TUK TUk like scooter or bicycle I was born & raised in Tamil family in Ceylon in our time it is not requirement for tourists by the way at that time no TUK TUK

Thanks for the video! Couple of questions: 1. Can you drive across the nation? Are there any restrictions 2. Does tuk tuk has a windshield or rainshield to cover while driving?
You are free to drive wherever you want in Sri Lanka. Its that freedom that makes it so fun. Only two highways are of limit for all tuktuks. There is a rainshield in the tuktuk, we only used it once. Thanks so much for watching! 🙏🏻

We got our driver license and showen it to the police when we got stopped. Never a problem!

Is it safe to drive the tuk tuks? I mean regarding traffic. I dont even like to take ubers without a carseat
Its getting used to an other kind of traffic. Some cities are a little chaotic. We never felt unsafe.

Hello...I am happy to found your channel. We have 15 nights in august and sre thinking about renting a tuk tuk. But our children are 10 and 13. So I am not sure about how comfortable it is...especially on longer routes. Our stopps would ve Negombo/Sigiriya and up to Kandy. Is this doable all the curves with our heavy weight and the backpacks?🤷♀️🙈 Than train to Ella, Arugam Bay, Yala, Hiriketiya and from there I would take taxi. Because in 15 nights is too heavy. What do you think? Tuktukrental says no problem....🤣🙈...as always in Asia. I am not sure about the route and the weight in the mountains. Did you have problems with your weight or with the space for backpacks? Thanks do much Andrea
3 people in back would work but consider packing very light then. The weight is doable, I think. We loved driving the tuktuks and being on the road in general. If this is your thing: go for it! Yes but maybe we should pack a bit lighter...🙈 Do you have experience, what distance most is doable with the kids in one day? I am not sure about distance around 130 to 160 km...🤷♀️ Negombo/Sigiriya or Ella/Arugam Bay. Arugam Bay/Yala. Do you made this in one day?
@@79andream How long your kids can enjoy the tuktuk depends of course. The trick is to search driving time on google maps and multiply it by 2. This never failed us. I believe the longest we did was about 100 km.
@@arewethereyet000absolutely and in sri lanka ther e are plenty of places to stop and refresh. Weight would be a problem going up steep back roads . my wife is 120kg and tuk tuk had no problem
What is the cost for a day ?

Good tips thanks! I have found gluten free foods easy to find in the Netherlands, England, Spain, Croatia, Sweden and Denmark. Although large cities in France have good choices, smaller towns in rural France often have no gluten free food at all.

We loved oceanside condos! Our favorite accomodation of our whole trip (also a little more expensive then the others). We met the guide on the beach and got a reference from an other traveling family. No contacts but we payed 170 dollars.
