An adventure that would lead us to seeing loads of animals, visiting gorgeous temples, driving through tea plantations, snorkeling in search of sea turtles, eating great food, witnessing the most amazing festival... and above all meeting a lot of amazing people. In August you have rainy season in the south. A lot of rain but also dangerous waves. We chose not to go with the kids. If you are searching for a good beach alternative: Nilaveli is the place to be in August! 😉
