This channel is about the history of military aviation. If you were a fan of History Channel's Dogfights, you will enjoy this content. We similarly use computer graphics to reenact clashes between various military aircraft, but we cover a much wider range of stories, including many 'forgotten' conflicts involving Third World nations. To achieve this, we use state of the art flight simulations such as DCS World, IL-2 Great Battles and War Thunder.

Those Argentinian and British pilots had balls of STEEL. No doubts about it. Brave men!
On board the L/C, sat in the Landrover, was an AAC soldier whom I served with, his memory was of him talking with a RM crew member, then finding himself bobbing in the water, blinded and confused. He was rescued and made a full physical recovery. For years after, he would find tiny slivers of aluminium in his tears.
به عنوان یک ایرانی نقش نفتکشها بسیار عالی بود خلبانان ایرانی خلبانان شاه بود و نه رژیم ضحاک ضد ایرانی
how do you get the mirage 3
The Germans had Chosen the wrong Allied- no good material, nor good Manpower.
I really hope we can get a part 2 to this one day still :/
Thank you, a well told story. Bravery on both sides.
Paid propaganda always quoting the Pakistani sources!!
Here's my message for all the people who are only interested in hearing how awesome their own nation is and how lame their enemies are: HIT THE ROAD JACK, AND DON'T YOU COME BACK NO MORE NO MORE NO MORE NO MORE! 🤣🤣🤣
IAF practically wiped out the entire Pakistani airforce from the subcontinent in the 1971, make a video on that too!!
Malvinas 500 km de Argentina Malvinas 13000 km de Reino Unido Malvinas Argentinas!!!!
In the first 3 months of war o 1980, Iran army lost 50% of its airforce cus lack of skill of their pilots, this is fact
That is a very good joke :)
Lies.
Thank you very much for this objective, well researched and scientific comment. You are clearly a great expert in these matters.
Soundtrack??
There is a name of the song and performer in the video description, I can't remember exactly.
Vivia en calabozo, edo Guarico, estaba en el liceo durante los 2 golpes, hasta un FAL me dieron pa defense la democracia yo tenia 15 anos
Wow....
Honorable Pat Pattle came to my attention back in 2019 when randomly researching South African WWII involvement: his story disturbed me that he wasn't properly recognized or mentioned anywhere. Really glad to see more content online about this and really enjoyed the narrative on these war journals! RIP Hero
Thank you for the comment! He does deserve some more attention, that's for sure.
ME 163 the fastest HE 162 2nd fastst plane in WWII Listen to Mr Brown, he knows better than you (:-)
?
Can you do video about Slovenské vzdušné zbrane?
Possibly. I have to say I don't have any deep knowledge in this subject but if you can recommend some good sources, feel free to do so.
As eye popping as the jets were, the Luftwaffe should have put the Ta-152 and Do-335 on the front burner. In the night skies, the He-219 should have gotten more priority. The quagmire that was the OKL made it fight against itself as much as the enemies in the air.
Great series.Keep up the good work. :)
Thank you for the positive feedback!
The Sea Harrier was/still is a great plane. Only a clueless government would throw these and Tornado GTA fighers on the scrap heap without having a viable and numerous alternative.
I always hate to see these old warrior birds retired.
This campaign is apparently taught in every major school of Arial combat worldwide as an exceptional instance of what precise planning and daring can achieve to this day. It's arguably one of the most impressive cases of air combat strategy and execution in history.
Krauts nararring. Pfui Teufel!
Germans narrating! What!
?
Didn't realize the Rufe was that maneuverable.
The fact does seem strange but multiple sources suggest that the floats didn't affect it too much.
This is what they planned to do in Ukraine, but as we say in Mexico, "The answerable maid came out."
Informative. Thanks
Thank you for the comment!
Very accurate explained also Iran has made movie of this mission ( attack on H3 ) But story of single f4 which landed in palmira Syria , it’s more horrific than H3 cuz it took 2 months to fix the airplane and mean while Iran sent 2 professional pilot to syria to bring it back !! Unfortunately Syria intelligent advised to iraqs intelligent about the flight pattern and time of flight . More than 20 Iraqis migs were patrolling over the turkey ; syria and Iraq borders to intercept f4 !! But Iranian pilots were so smart and instead of taking that pattern, they decided to fly across the the country of Iraq at a altitude of 50 feet from the ground with supersonic speed and reach Iran and they succeeded.
The Italians had no radios so they used hand signals . Of course !
This shows that an aircraft inferior in performance can have the upper hand with a trained pilot and superior armament
What software do you use to make these sims? It’s pretty realistic. Guessing unreal 5 but wondering if it’s a game/engine like war thunder?
This particular video is done in DCS World, like most of them. Many others are created in War Thunder and a few in IL-2 Great Battles.
CODSWALLOP Argentinians in PANIC shot their own aircraft and missed the RAF and RN aircraft so what is abnormal about that. The Argentinian Marines that conducted the Illegal Invasion had already RAN AWAY, like COWARDS. So Conscripts with little training were thrown in because the Argentinian Marines knew they would be HUMILIATED again Cowards. The Argentinian Navy RAN AWAY = Cowards. DAFT that the ONLY member of the Dictatorship that OBJECTED to the Invasion was the head of the Air Force, which was the ONLY branch of their military that actually fought!
The raids on ramsgate hit houses at the top of my nan and gandads road and there's still a crater in the local cemetery were one bomb landed
Thank you for sharing!
The videos are spectacular, the quality of the images is brilliant...there is only one error...the A4 planes that Argentina used did not have the hump like the more modern versions, the A4F and A4M, which had electronic equipment... . The Argentine planes were the oldest...
I download these videos because they are to save but it is a shame that they have that error... A question...the story is in what language...?...I will try to translate it to understand it...
Delta Daggers! I made plastic models as a kid. Amazing US and British weapons were killing each other.
Sometimes Western aircraft fight each other like in this war. Another example are Indo-Pakistani Wars.
British were extremely professional, skilled and lethal. Far away from home. It's amazing they had the logistics for a modern naval war.
They had the logistics but they didn't really have many assets to spare, even using a bunch of civilian vessels and sending them in the middle of a war zone. But it worked in the end.
The A-4 was an outstanding ground/sea attack aircraft. Small, relatively cheap to manufacture, and could carry an excellent weapons load for it's size. A "modernized" platform could very well find a niche and perform quite well today.
Yes and it's incredible how quickly it was designed without any computers. Pure talent.
Fuera Gran Bertaña de sudamerica💪💪💪
Mirage had no fuel to do much of anything. Gutsy missions.
The Avenger had half the lenght of the Invincible, no way a pilot mistake one for another. By that time a lot of Type 21/22/42 were in sight of argentinian pilots
This is mere rubbish & speculation & has no credibility whatsoever!!
If by 'this' you mean your own comment, I couldn't agree more 🤣
Wow that was a suicidal plan. I saw a documentary about how they air refueled 6 times at 300 feet which is a big no no.
There were four aerial refuels and not exactly at 300 feet but still extremely low.
Pero que petardos fumais ahi???? Cambiar de camello!!! Los fiat cr-42 falco anti spitfires???? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 no vuelve ni uno de la escuadrilla pirados!!!!..
"... but, please, keep it polite." I love you man. This is what it's all about here, if we care about being truthful.
Thank you very much for this comment!
A war that should never have been, but Thatcher wanted it, and our military did honour themselves. | remember speaking to one sailor from one of the ships that was bombed, and he said, Me and me mate went overboard, shouting, no more flatjacks tonight
Sheer Argie incompetence, no doubt nothing wrong with the engineering of the jet, poor maintenance likely the cause of the problem and then shooting down your own jet - abysmal.
honestly the more i read about iran iraq war (and Iranians as a whole)the more i realize they are basically Asian germans
FF?
