Easiest Swing

Easiest Swing

The Easiest way to play golf! Brian Sparks' legacy, Easiest Swing lives on. This channel shows you how to find an easier way of swinging the club and playing the game. Whilst these are all particularly valid for senior golfers they also help golfers of any age or ability to reduce difficulty. As Brian says in his book, Positive Impact Golf, swinging a golf club and hitting a golf ball should not be so difficult. It is increased, of course, when the amount of technical advice combines with an overload of thinking.
Easiest Swing coaches are continuing the philosophy of Easiest Swing to enable golfers around the world to discover an easier and more natural way to play golf.

    Perhaps a misconception on my part. A lot of tuition promotes tilting in the backswing. Your backswing appears quite level. I tried this but ended up with a really flat backswing. Most likely my errors!!! Any thoughts appreciated.

    i have back issues, one question i have is how do you stop the right shoulder from flying out at the start of the downswing causing an over the top move, this is worse as the clubs get longer for me particularly with driver, my understanding of the easiest swing move is all rotational and the whole body moving as one in harmony, but i always seem to swing across the ball and get a glancing blow leading to a loss of distance, thanks the videos are great and i have subscribed dan

    Thanks Dan I can sympathise with your issue as it plagued me for at least the first 15 years of my career. I would say to avoid focussing on it too much as it is a result of a number of issues. Following Easiest Swing and watching our videos will help you progress through the elements that cause it. If you need additional help consider joining our club where we can watch your progress and help you along the road. But I can assure you it can be fixed and fortunately due to Brian’s and my experience ES will get you there quickly. Make sure you have rid yourself of the 3 Deadly Don’ts and follow the six basics whilst removing tension. If none of this is familiar I’d suggest you purchase a copy of our new book The Easiest Swing in Golf. Good luck - better golf is ahead!

    For all of you senior golfers, what Phillip is teaching is the key to playing golf in a way that will allow you to continue playing for years to come. The secret is swinging in a relaxed manner. Here in Arizona, golfing in very warm conditions can feel like the Batan death march if you are swinging the club with a strangle hold on the grip, out of balance, and too much tension in your arms and shoulders. Instead of finishing a round feeling tired, the Easiest Swing method has you walking off of the 18th green still feeling like you could easily play another 9 holes. I am finding much more enjoyment in my game today than I ever had prior to finding the Easiest Swing. I score better and I feel better. I may not look like the young bucks with a pro style swing, but I don’t look like the guys that swing out of their shoes and look like they are chopping wood. If you are a senior, try it. I think you will like it a lot.

    Had a long conversation with Brian about one length irons and he was strongly considering incorporating this into the easiest swing. I finally bought an immaculate set very cheap off a well known auction site. Had 9 holes with them last night and then took them out in one of our club major competitions where I placed third. These have got to be great for the easiest swing , same ball position and no bending over, what do you think? As Brian said, always breaking rules.

  • @Easiestswing
    @Easiestswing4 күн бұрын

    Yes indeed he thought in particular that short irons were difficult for a lot of seniors due to the extra bend required he played with a set of one length irons that Ping made specially for him. Unfortunately they are not interested in putting them into production but we are talking to other manufacturers and maybe one day will have a solution. 🤞well done on your success keep it going!

    Thanks so much for the video. Tension has always been an issue for me and this video really helped. I have a question. On the downswing, is your feeling more body driven or arms driven? In other words is the feeling when swinging down, the body leading the arms or vice versa?

  • @Easiestswing
    @Easiestswing7 күн бұрын

    Whilst most pros would say the arms trail the body for them, for many club golfers this just leads to a disconnect of clubhead, body and arms. Therefore for most players reducing tension and increasing awareness of where the clubhead is without forcing it or trying to control it too much is the best way to deliver the club squarely. We do discuss this topic in several of our videos so keep watching!

    This Feb I transitioned from Graves Golf Single Plane Swing to the Easiest Swing. It made sense about less tension and rotating for my 73 yr old body. It has been an unmitigated disaster. My drives are 20 to 30 yds less and I slice all over the course and hit pop ups 30 yds off the tee. My long irons are more topped than solidly hit. And the strongest of my game had been chipping and now I either chunk or skull the shot 80% of the time. All of the comments on the Videos praise their results. Are these comments for real or they written by friends and Bots? I’m going to try and incorporate a hybrid with the best parts of less tension with the ball striking of Single Plane.

    Great video lesson for sure. I discovered this a while back when I was casually hitting shots out of trouble and actually discovering the feeling the inertia and was amazed at the difference it made for targeting shots and overall game improvement too -- even in the short grass. It seems that I spend far more time now trying to prevent any and all forms of tension/rigidity in my swing routine and (instead) pay much more attention to simply allowing the swing to more freely happen, (as you are saying), which is also allowing me way bullet-straight trajectories, more gratification, and much better scoring.

The manufacturers have designed these clubs in such as way that they will square up without any outside manipulation. A light grip, loose wrists, and supple arms is all you need for these golf clubs to work for you. Well Done Phil! I like the way you present your topics.
