Why 95% of Golfers Can't Hit STRAIGHT Shots (Game Changer!)
Easiest Swing is all about playing golf in a more natural way and looks to free golfers from contrived and awkward positions in their effort to conform. We believe all golfers have an in-built "Easiest Swing" and way to play, once released from conventional "rules" their golf swing and game becomes more repeatable and comfortable.

    Great advice Phil. You’ve gotta lose control to gain control. Had a conversation with my playing partner today after he miss-hit his driver on a a par 5. He couldn’t get to the green so he tried to lay up to a number. He made the most smooth a free swing and hit it 15 yards longer than expected. The rest of the day we told each other, hit your layup shot, on every shot. It was a great ball striking day for both of us,

    Excellent advise Phil on how to naturally swing a golf club. I have been playing this game for almost 70 years and I learned a long time ago it is better not to try and manipulate the golf club. The manufacturers have designed these clubs in such as way that they will square up without any outside manipulation. A light grip, loose wrists, and supple arms is all you need for these golf clubs to work for you. Well Done Phil! I like the way you present your topics. I have "The Easiest Swing" downloaded onto my Kindle. A great reference guide!

    Great video lesson for sure. I discovered this a while back when I was casually hitting shots out of trouble and actually discovering the feeling the inertia and was amazed at the difference it made for targeting shots and overall game improvement too -- even in the short grass. It seems that I spend far more time now trying to prevent any and all forms of tension/rigidity in my swing routine and (instead) pay much more attention to simply allowing the swing to more freely happen, (as you are saying), which is also allowing me way bullet-straight trajectories, more gratification, and much better scoring.

    Hi Philip, Yes interference free is OK but some action towards the target to collect the ball through the turf and send it to the target is required. Depending on the type of interaction with the turf tone in the wrists changes.

    I have just dicovered your site, I have watched many of your videos over the last few days. I have been playing for many years and always found swinging slower hits it better. I am playing in a Seniors Aniversary medal next week, which I won last year, and I am going to try and put into practice your method and see how I get on, just for information, my HI is 13.9 and I have not ben playing well for the past few months, I will let you know how I get on, thanks in advance for your information.

    Thanks for the compliment. No two golfers will (or should) do this exactly the same. What you need to aim for is the most natural move you can make that doesn’t have the three deadly don’ts interfering. If that term is not familiar just watch more of our videos or read one of our two books. Hope you find your own easiest swing soon. 👍

    I totally agree with everything you said. The only thing that I wonder about. The swing as you described it will square up the club face without a doubt. However, the thing I have the biggest problem with is inconsistent strike quality. Sometimes I hit thin shots, sometimes I hit fat shots, sometimes I hit beautiful compressed shots. How does the relaxed swing help with a consistent point of impact?

  • @Easiestswing

    @Easiestswing

    When you first release yourself from a more tense swing and start to swing more relaxed your rhythm can be rather inconsistent. This will improve as you go on and I would suggest reading our books too as this will help support your journey towards your own Easiest Swing. Sounds like you are making good progress keep up the good work 👍🏌🏾‍♂️

    Thanks so much for the video. Tension has always been an issue for me and this video really helped. I have a question. On the downswing, is your feeling more body driven or arms driven? In other words is the feeling when swinging down, the body leading the arms or vice versa?

  • @Easiestswing

    @Easiestswing

    9 күн бұрын

    Whilst most pros would say the arms trail the body for them, for many club golfers this just leads to a disconnect of clubhead, body and arms. Therefore for most players reducing tension and increasing awareness of where the clubhead is without forcing it or trying to control it too much is the best way to deliver the club squarely. We do discuss this topic in several of our videos so keep watching!

    Hi Phil, I’ve noticed that recently I’ve become ‘left hand dominant’ using ES which I think is causing my topped shots, shanks and duffs. I think I need to weaken my grip... any views on this? Whatever- I’m sticking with the ES! Thanks.

  • @Easiestswing

    @Easiestswing

    13 күн бұрын

    The three P’s Patience, Practice and Perseverance are essential for success, so well done on making that commitment I suspect you are experiencing this feeling in your left hand as a comparison to have previously been right hand dominant. Given time this will calm down and once your rhythm matches your new more relaxed action it will soon become much more consistent. Sounds like you are making great progress keep going and we will support you all the way. I’d suggest buying our books as they will help you along the journey 👍

    Do you swing with the toe up in both the backswing and on the follow through?

  • @Easiestswing

    @Easiestswing

    14 сағат бұрын

    If I answered this question there would be three issues that could send you off in the wrong direction. 1) it would indicate there are “positions” we should aim for, but there are no “positions” in a motion. 2) It would also assume that it is ok to manipulate the club into unnatural “positions” whereas we believe you are better to be aware of how the club swings most naturally and see if you can allow your body not to interfere and more or less go along for the ride. 3) Finally, it would also assume we are all the same, but of course we are not, we are all built differently with different length levers and differing weights and flexibility. So golfers will all do this this differently and individually. This final point is something we think most methods overlook, as most of them want us all to follow some template of a “perfect” swing, whereas we just want to help you find your own best action. If you don’t know too much about Easiest Swing you may not have heard of the Three Deadly Don’ts and for sure if you have any one of those in your swing it will also be affecting many factors including the club head. I hope in a roundabout way that all answers your question!

Bear in mind it’s usually a couple of months before these videos get edited finished and published. Thanks for your input and hope you are enjoying our videos. 👍

    Most likely you are not launching the ball high enough. Most commonly for club golfers they launch it too low and put too much spin in the ball. Have you had a club fitting recently?
