Your videos of around 5 mins are excellent. I admire the quality of your content that encapsulates high interest and quality analysis within a time that I can very easily commit too. There are still only 24 hours in the day in spite of the demands from the exponential growth of KZread.

Whats the coming longer form video about a megathrust? Could it be... Maybe... The January 1700 cascadia quake, and the ghost forests, and the orphan tsunami in Japan? Just a guess... If not, it would be cool to see a video about that by this channel sometime

As always, very informative. Your dedication to proper pronunciation and diction make your narration clear and understandable. The 5-minute format is an easily "digestible" length. Occasional 10-minute "lectures" will be welcome also, even if not as heavily viewed. Thanks again!

Congratulations on 300K+ subscribers! I've been watching your videos for years and this is my first comment. Not only do we share the same name, Tim, but also a fascination for volcanoes. Ten year old me lived 40'ish miles from Mount St. Helens when it blew up on May 18, 1980. That morning I was outside and saw the plume shoot up from behind Bell Mountain, which blocked our view of the St. Helens. I ran inside and told my dad who quickly packed us kids up in the Scout and drove us up to the top of Bell Mountain. We literally had one of the best views and watched the eruption all that day. (the wind was blowing the eruption east and we were south west) It was a life changing experience and one of my best memories of my dad. Anyway, love your work and congrats on the well earned success.

I'm so glad I found Geologyhub back in 2021 when the March 19th, 2021 Iceland eruption happened. We watch Geologyhub with excellent information about volcanoes and craters. People need to stop spreading misinformation about natural disasters, and it's so sad that people prefer to read misinformation instead of facts

Congrats on making 300k subscribers. Your videos are very informative and educational. Coming from someone with a technical communications/writing background may I suggest one thing. You have a great introduction and present your subject very clearly but you don't end them with a conclusion. I'm listening to your videos with great interest but they end too abruptly. You should summarize what you have said when finishing your video. Apart from that, great work.

1988 publication detailing the Internal Magma Structure beneath. Imagine 36 Yellowstones stacked one on top of the other. This system extends to the Atlantic/Ridge, a Volcano is erupting and spewing nickle and the sea floor/ridge is splitting apart...currently. If the Iceland eruption continues there will be big geological shifts which will effect tidal surges and obviously adverse atmospheric/weather conditions.

Campi Flegrei will be affected. There are sunken cities of the Ancient World all around that sea region. Tamu Massif in the North Pacific will be a suprise as generally the consensus is, 'nothing to see here.' Movement on one side of the planet means equal movement on the opposite side. Always a balance of energy. That's why humans messing around playing God with the weather and particle acceleration are dangerous. On account they truly believe they can control all things.
