I made this the other day and it was amazing, I actually liked it warm better than letting it cool because it reminded me of warm custard (texture wise)

Can these bowls withstand high stove fire? I bought a clay pot from an Asian store and it cracked and broke into two while I was sautéing some Chinese sausage slices in it. Any precautions that must be taken with these pots?

Made these last night and they did not turn out chewy. They flattened out and ended up crispy. I even reduced the baking time to 13 minutes. They look nothing like in the video. The "2 sticks of butter" instruction is, indeed, confusing. Not all countries have their butter in stick form and when you Google what a stick of butter is in grams, you get 113g probably based on american measurements. It's true that in the video, the sticks look smaller than what we normally see. When you have to figure this out by yourself or with the help of other viewers, to me, this warrants a "don't recommend channel" click.

Also surprised people don't know you don't have to cook tofu, but some people also don't know you don't cook sashimi or nuke it in the micro prior to eating. Asian foods only get popular and mainstream when non-Asian people capitalize on trends and only then do people open their minds and mouths to Asian foods/ingredients/culture. Outside of that Asian food is othered, much like Asian people. or made out to be "gross" or "disgusting" by clout chasers and/or the same people who try to capitalize off the food and culture and "other" Asian folks.

This should have way more likes. Also thank you for writing out the recipe. I know asmr videos that don't or most have a link that leads outside the app, which is fine I guess, but it's nice when the info is in one place. Like low vision and blind homies can still get the recipe.
