That 4th spot on the Rushmore is basically Hulk and Wolverine vs the Justice League, which is hilarious to me. For the sake of balancing things between the Big 2, I'm picking Hulk over Wolverine because his popularity is more enduring (even with the bastardizations he got from 2016-2020, while Logan was really just a juggernaut from the Bronze age to 2014), he's the most iconic representation of pure power in comics, and he introduced Wolverine in the first place. If I wanted to go al-out though, I'd say the main two competitors are Wonder Woman and (The Flash)Barry Allen. Wonder Woman because she's the first female superhero and despite having no cartoons/video games of her own and only four movies (2 animated, 2 live-action) + one Live-Action show, she's still able to overshadow literally every female character in existence. Barry because he's the basic concept of Super Speed (a title he holds even tighter than The Hulk does with Super Strength since Superman encroaches on that turf), inspired every speedster that came after him, and created the concept of *the multiverse.*

Power levels and multipliers should never have been a thing, putting a definitive number to a character's strength and how it compares to another really forced the power creep to grow faster and bigger than if they were simply vague of how strong a person was or how much a transformation increased their strength. Even though they stopped using it after the Namek saga, the damage was already done, any human being able to compete with a Super Saiyan is considered bad writing because we already have a precedent of most pre-Namek humans maybe topping off somewhere below 500,000 while Super Saiyans are in the damn 10s of billions at the weakest

I pretty much agree with all of this if we stick to a "Basically keep what is there but just make adjustments along the way" approach. If you start to talk about drastic changes....I'd have a couple of hot takes. If I were in the position to make the decision....I would have ended Z after the Freeza arc, with everyone waiting for Goku's return. FROM THERE...I would just continue the franchise in the form of a series of feature films serving as sequels to the show. I would never introduce wonky, hard to manage concepts like time travel and alternate timelines into the mix. The various movies show us how different concepts from the anime could be played out in shorter, more concise stories. The two Cooler films are riffing on the idea of Freeza returning. Super Android 13 is basically a riff on the concept of Cell. The first Broly movie is just plain awesome. Fusion Reborn kind of riffs on the Buu arc, etc

The point of Raditz being Gokus brother is to make it so Goku rejects his nature as a Saiyan and realizes that his race and his blood family werent actually good people, it gives more impact to the person Goku turned out to be by showing us almost what he couldve turned out as if he didnt get sent to Earth. Still probably coulve been hanlded way better, especially with how little of an actual character Raditz is, but him being Goku brother isnt pointless.

Never understood why people blame characters like Superman and Batman for not killing their villains and hand them to the law instead. Why not blame the law for not issuing the death penalty? It’s not the hero’s right to dictate who lives and dies. Their job is simply keeping people safe.

I've always thought that the Chrome era would be a fitting name for the post Bronze-Age era (1985-2000) because of the whole emphasis on flashy spectacle and speculation in the market. We had events like Death of Superman and Knightfall, then breakout hits like Venom and Spawn alongside a ton of new publishers emerging and most of them dying out within a few years. Chrome is used as a cover/plating for other metals to prevent corrosion but by itself is not as valuable as Silver or Gold.

*To me this movie is my favourite Superman movie* I adore everything about this movie and to me it perfectly encapsulates everything that makes Superman important in today's world and why now more than ever as countries fo to war, people die and nihilism and cynicism affect countless today, Superman acts to remind us that their is hope and that he truly believes in everyone even if his enemies and the Elite and Manchester Black are a great representation of the 21st century a cynism and misguided justice, they are an antithisis of Superman's morals and everything he doesn't want to be be. Superman feels the weight of every person he cant save and it mentally affects him like an anchor holding the weight of the world on his back yet when hes tempted by those dark thoughts he chooses to be good despite his immense powers, because Superman just wants to help and truly believes in us all even when we don't believe in ourselves. It adapts the story "What's so funny about truth, Justice and the American Way" perfectly I couldn't recommend this film enough to the people who say Superman is boring, because to me this film really disproves that notion quite well. It just frustratingly confuses me how such an amazing DC animated film is overlooked?

Dick Grayson, Wally West, Tim Drake and Damian Wayne. If we have to restrict it to no repeating mantles, then it's Dick, Wally, Jimmy Olsen and Roy Harper. Characters like Batgirl, War Machine, Falcon and the Wasp don't really count as sidekicks for me. Jason's time as robin is far less iconic than his death and what came after. Same honestly goes for Bucky. Rick Jones if he still had cultural significance could have been here. Characters like Donna are far too complicated to be on the list and many other DC sidekicks are great but they aren't iconic.
