  Aye i didn't write the novel or the significance of the characters and there's plenty of vids where I dont mention a female character, but you can't deny the role diaochan plays in the games, she's credited with the one who is responsible for the fat mans death, I can't deny that she helped move the story forward because of her actions she's a pivotal character & even though fictional is also considered one of the 4 beauties of china, she definitely left her impact 🤙

  @@TheNightowlGaming lmao no, it’s the sexualizing of the female characters that nerds love them for… she wasn’t important because she wasn’t real.. and yes I understand everything is fantasized in the games as was homers Iliad… however there are more important characters than her… for example Zhang Liao… Zhou yu… Jia Xu… many more…

  Sadly having certain options to choose from doesn’t mean the story will change in any way. There’s a lot of missed opportunities at the moment from seeing all the interviews so I’ll be passing for now and keeping a eye on the development

  They need to build more factions beside the big three. At least 4-5 character per faction, like Ma Teng faction, Gongsun Zan faction, Liu Biao, Yuan Shu, etc. Rather than adding members to the big three.

  The main character looks to secretly be Liao Hua. Teaming up with Guan Yu and the Yellow Turbans, that’s exactly his lore. Probably will be a pick your own path game, but I suppose the Shu Path would be the “True Ending” path so to speak

  I agree! I think Guan Suo & Bao Sanniang shouldn't be added in the new characters lineup in DW7. I think, Guan Xing & Guan Yinping should have been new characters in DW7, instead of DW8. Besides, Shu has too many characters.... However, I also don't like characters that being cut from the lineup, like in DW6. For me, it's better not to include them in the new characters lineup, if the characters is not strong enough in terms of story or history....

  any of the strongholds in DW4 could be difficult unless you followed the flow of the battle I mean the wei one I accidentally failed both the attack and defense because I hesitated and got stuck fighting next lei bei for about 3000 KOs at which point I tried to go for cao cao lei bei died before I managed to get halfway there.

  I'm still not sure what I'm looking at with this. Is it an RPG this time? And to think they could've done so much more with 9 Empires. The switch character thing looks like how Samurai Warriors does it. I hate that. I don't like being forced to switch characters. I do appreciate the return to format. I've just always been more interested in building my own kingdom.

  I'm curious to know whether your main character can be customised to a similar extent as say a souls game, so it has RPG elements to building your character up as you progress, as opposed to just upping your damage, defence etc

  Yueying's level 10 weapon in DW4 was a nightmare. Also, my mom was able to find 3 Red Hares in DW6 special, which is almost impossible to achieve.

  But...clearly...the hardest battles were the (individual per character) max (5th) level weapon unlocks of DW3 Xtreme Legends. The game featured fairly complex battle events that it constantly kept track off. Every event would influence the tide of battle in some way, but even if one event wouldn't trigger, that then potentially led to other ones. That gave the game a surprising amount of replayability. Most of those event combinations had to be discovered by the player. There was no hand-holding or manual for their completion. For the max lvl unlocks, on the highest difficulty setting, you had to successfully solve specific (but often secret) mid-battle tasks, that then triggered specific events. Those tasks usually involved very hard timers, giving you only mere minutes (like 1-4), often requiring that specific officers survived up to that point, or that your army achieved specific goals. Without the internet, the player wouldn't know any of the requirements for unlocking a weapon. You wouldn't know which map (of the 20 available) a character had to play on or what battle states had to be achieved. For some of those tasks you basically had to be in more than one place at the same time. I remember needing the help of a friend in some cases. Coop play was supported for unlocks. In order to get all 5th lvl weapons, you had to solve 41 of those sometimes extremely hard battle states and then also finish the mission successfully. The latter was already hard enough by itself. Those were the most intense but also most rewarding battles in all of the DW series.

  few things, that is not yuan shao it is zhang jiao redisine, you play as nobody, it is empty slate you are just there character, no story about him, no name as you can name him, you can't change his looks but you can change few weapons, there is no explore or anything it is simple pick mission and go do it, you can play as other characters for specific moments in the story as you are not important mind you you have to have good standing with that officer as I understand it, dialog choices are not important as it is just talk, it dose not affect story in any major way, you have items, small quests, you can unlock upgrades, mid you again it will not affect look of your character at your character is just platform for you to play, nothing else, world map is just that, it is world map as in any other game where you pick where to go unless it is somewhere that you must go then you must do that to progress the story, there is NO new characters other then your characters but there are some few redisines and not all characters will be in game from DW9 as we know they like to CUT THE CHARACTERS FROM THE GAME, now with all this said I hope some of this info helps you, they will revealed some more informations as game is over a year from realise and one of the game that I will skip, in my personal opinion this is the death of musou games

  I would say Gan Ning peak at DW6 personally.. and mainly because I really like the twin dagger move he uses in it. For me it felt like seeing the daggers are not even there and just watching like a dude just beat everyone very fast while unarmed 😅

  Guan Yu was always known for his majestic beard. It might not be presumptuous to think he might have been already born with full beard as we know it, wrapped in it like newborn are wrapped in a cloth. As for a game itself, it does look promising, devs definitely learned from both DW9 and Wo Long mistakes, but the most important thing for me and potentional dealbreaker still wasnt shown. Will the fighting mechanics be more akin to manually inputed combos (like majority of titles), or will it gonna be the neutered system like they tried in DW6 and 9?

  Well a twitter user named BlackKite translated an article of an interview of someone who works on the game, an it confirms that there will indeed be manually imputed combos like the old games, so hey, this means that the gameplay will really be good.

  I will say that, even though the big swoop killed about 200 NPCs, to be honest, if it was the Orochi series or any of the older I Dynasty Warriors from like 6 to 8(I have not played 9). I think they would exaggerate a lot more and have it be around 500 instead. so this could be considered a win
