Hey I just wanted to say I’m a martial artist from Melbourne who just played his first game. I was just a trial player playing cause I found ads on Facebook, but it was really only after watching your channel I decided to give it a go. I had such a great time and got invited to come play on a premiere league cloth team. It’s gonna be good fun!

Love the videos. Been watching a long time. I used to organize friendly dodgeball games for my friends and family. There are Dodgeball leagues in my city, (Ottawa, Onatrio Canada) but back then there really weren't. In their absence I found another sport that I love: Archery tag. It's very similar to dodgeball, but instead of balls, we fire foam-tipped arrows at each other. It's fairly well establish in Ottawa and we also hold tournaments against teams in Toronto, Montreal, Boston and Denver. Archery tag isn't as widely established a sport as dodgeball, so not a lot of videos to find with tips on how to get better and train. But your videos have had a TON of insights and helpful tips for me in archery tag, even though it's a different sport. I'd LOVE to see you react to some Archery tag videos sometime. If you need to find any I can point you to some good ones.

Dodging tips and tricks are really useful, faking, tips for training and warming up are all really applicable as we do the same kinds of motions and movements. We can't block arrows in archery tag but we can catch arrows. The catching is a little different and there are other tips and tricks I'd give someone to catch in archery tag that wouldn't apply as much in dodgeball. Strategy wise there is a lot of value in seeing how you strategize in dodgeball. Again, some differences; we don't have any rules about which side needs to shoot when. The only thing close is that there is a time limit for how long you can just sit back and do nothing, but it applies to both teams at all times. We also have inflatable bunkers to take cover behind. Not too big (there's almost always an angle to get a shot in unless someone is tiny. But that's maybe because we have 20-30 arrows on the field and 8 players per side. Keep up the great content, loving it.
