Hold your pliers directly on the slot my friend! It's bound to shake when spinning!
I had one of these a couple of years back - same colour with the orange front. It had been used in a print works! Thankfully no signs of toner in it but it smelt like a printing works!!
My parents had the model after this with just the brown front panel when they were first married
Hold on to the pliers my friend on the closing slot!!😅🤣👋❤️
Why is this on the playlist of the worst vacuum cleaners ever?
Shouldn't be. Thanks for pointing that out
You're welcome Steve.
Great video. Do the if260ukt nozzle heads fit the if250ukt model?
I want to see T720 /6720 All Speir Parts
Has anyone ever noticed theirs getting very warm after a fairly short time? Just a wonder,as my UK version does
You probably should have worn a gas mask at the end of the video.
Older vacuums are much more powerful - the recent EU regs means all new vacuums have to be under 900 watts 😢
SamsungのNavi botって日本でも発売してますかね?
Recently got my first sensotronic (system 1) and its dog rough but its not big deal! I dont chase perfection so glad to have one at last. The colour of your sensotronic here is so nice.very turbopower U2196! So 80s!
I had one as a student. It can wash a single duvet cover, pillow case, and fitted sheet all at once without any problem.
Hi Steve, I just picked up one of these, and it has the piston on the bag door in good condition might be going on ebay at some point
Did you get it from Andrew? I'd be very interested in buying it when you put it on eBay :)
@TheVintageApplianceEmporium I did mate 2 auto sense models and a turbopower auto flex
Hi Steve have you put an offer in on the tp2
@@dbsparks3285 Hello mate, no I didn't know it was live. What's the item number?
@TheVintageApplianceEmporium Steve is there any way I can private message you?
Have you removed the blank plate to see if it has the air freshner lettering?

A virginal NOS hood for virginal NOS boy!
Can't wait for the U2332 and U1060 retest
Really don’t like the inverter motors on newer washing machines either, they sound so boring.
I call it indeshit now as the machines are awful. Really do not like these new machines from this company. Or I should say brand. The older machines from this brand were brilliant. I guess it’s true what they say, good things don’t last forever. I remember my auntie had an older Indesit washing machine in the 2000s and I loved listening to it working. Had a lovely sounding motor and pump
Thank you ❤
why would anyone attempt to sniff bacteria 😮???
Sebo beats anything on the market and has done for a very long time, excellent vacuum machines which when serviced and maintained are the best around.
6:14 The floor nozzle is definitely from Hoover Sensotronic system 2 and the tool tray is also brown
Thanks for creating this video. Could you please help me with guiding me on how to detach the cord rewind this DC26 city? Ty.
Interesting that this still has the metal baseplate and brushroll as lateas 1985 instead of the Junior, Turbopower and Turbopower Junior entirely plastic.
LO means I'm dead
It started cleaning and the battery went low
Hey Steve. Any chance I could email you for some help with a TP 1000 please?
I washed my clothes in a few minutes because of this video. I bought my machine today at some company here in Uganda-Kampala. Its so simple...hahaha I love it, it's only a small machine 7kg but I did well
Amazing
Catch yourself ooon SteveN! Have you ever ... a) got the b*@#£/! digestive biccy wheel outta those damn clips? b) got the also b*@#£/! height-right wheels outta their damn clips? If so pretty please will you do a how to vid? I can send sherry 🎉😜
Dude didn't even get to the black one...the ones with the screws and show us how to change belts
Wakefield floor care are very well known to me.broom cupboard member Charlie padfield works there
Looks like a poor man's constellation
Ibaisiac has one as well
I wanna see a Turbopower 2 (with a decent agitator) and a Hepa Dust bag go at it ! 😜
Steve. With it being such a base model (single speed, no air freshener, no headlamp, reduced font on the body) what was "Plus" about it?! 🤣 I'm guessing another 75 or so watts on the motor compared to the original TP?
Your GS80 seem to be a quite good condition and it sounds also healthy in the motor. Three things I can add as info to you. 1) The Overtemp Protection Valve on top of the motor is pure mechanical. When overtemp is detected, it will as you explained pop up, but it won't cut the power to the motor. And it won't reset itself after the motor have been cooled down proberly. It need the have quite a firm press to be put into right place again. 2) Nice to see the original hose. However these are made of rubber inside with cloth weaved outside, in the beginning these hoses are almost just as smooth as a crush-proof hose, but due to aging the rubber hardens and the hose will become less agile maybe like yours. In the end of its lifespan, the rubber will break into pieces leaving the hose not airtight anymore. 3) The orientation of the motor unit itself serves two purposes. The one being the engineer who created it, wanted the cold air to first reach to motor to ensure the best cooling possible. The second reason was stability. It was tested, if the motor unit was turned around, the vacuum cleaner as a whole, due to its upright design, could have a tendency to tip over. Nice to see the info folder you got, I wasn't aware of the GTE motors availability to be used on the GS80. They were primarily sold on the larger Industrial two or three motor vacuums.
.... what happened with the brush roll ? 😱
What a beautiful old lady.
I recently ordered proper Sodium Percarbonate myself. It's excellent stuff, like Vanish/Astonish-but on steroids.
The Essentials C400UVC22 available at Currys seems to be near enough the same model. Currys reviews section contains several complaints of "hard to push". I expect it's because of the agressive brush. I'm sure its actually fine to use if you have it set correctly. Great channel by the way. :)
So, I got one of the above mentioned Essentials C400UVC22 refurbed from eBay. It differs from the Bush only in ride height settings and cord length. However, the Currys model I received is ridiculously loud. The Bush is listed on Argos website as only 80db, but this one must be way over that. I will measure it tomorrow. Seems to be afew complaints of excessive noise in reviews I have read, but not enough to suggest that all of them are this loud. Tried it without the belt as I thought the noise must just be the aggressive brush rubbing on something. But no, it's the motor and the vibration caused by it. Like there's no sound deadening whatsoever.
So today I used my smartphone to measure the decibels. It was only 89 decibels. Whilst that is loud, it perhaps isn't the motor bearing failure I had thought. Maybe it's just terrible sound/vibration deadening on the Essentials C400UVC22. The Bush perhaps got afew extra bits of rubber/foam?. Anyway, these machines take Eureka E0205 belts.
It's strange that on Argos reviews, several people state that the Bush is actually QUIETER than their previous machine. But then some reviews say that it is noisy?. Maybe some got better motors/sound deadening than others? I measured the decibel levels of my Hoover Hurricane Power VR81HU01. And to my suprise it was between 82 and 89 decibels. The noise doesn't seem anywhere near as harsh as the Essentials C400UVC22, but almost the same in terms of decibels. My partners Hoover Breeze Evo TH31BO01 is genuinely pretty quiet, only 350 Watt motor and stated to be 79 decibels.
Hi Steveh! How did the retro Brighting go? Great find. Did you see the TM lens for sale last week ??
As a kid in our house we had Blue Hoover Senior (re-conditioned) Beige Hoover Turbopower soft bag (no air-freshener -also re-conditioned ) Then this very one in Stellar Red- the first brand new vaccuum my mum had! I remember being gutted that it didnt have a light, air freshener, bag check indicator and the lack of lower cord hook was a real pain in the arse! My mum bought it from Argos as she was pissed off at my dad's lack of action about the current old TP "not picking up" and lack of tools
Do love the red colour.glad to see it was saved Steve!
Do a review on a Regina Electrikbroom or Hoover Quikbroom II
Husqvarna are very well known in the UK for sewing machines and overlockers. They merged with a company called Viking in the mid 50s and since then they trade under the name Husqvarna Viking. Originally made in Sweden they are now made in the far east, but display a description “Swedish Design”
